Danl Danl

I'm sure all of you will be puzzled, but this is actually a picture of my close friend Danl. Okay, you might be wondering what in the world am I posting this for? Well just found it interesting when he turned up for badminton with the bag and yes, without his shoes!

It happen like this. He is working somewhere in Taman Bahagia. From his work place to Bukit Jalil is pretty straight forward. So happen he didn't pack but decided to go for badminton. Nice of him to inform me he'll be going, so I made an effort to go early for the day. His mother was there when I reached so I asked where is Danl? She replied, she didn't pack for him. So Danl called his younger brother Phil to help him pack. As usually the nice old buddy Phil, most probably stressed out with assignments and g... opps sorry, forgot the shoes.

Could see that Danl was pretty upset. He was stressing time and time again, "How can he of all things forget my SHOES!!" Well better luck next time Danl. I'm sure you'll be back with a vengence next week.

What A Day

This is a picture taken at the place where I play badminton. As you will be able to notice, it is a good facility with rubber courts and very good lightings. They've maintained the place well and I believe everyone who plays there will give good comments about it.
I had some very nice games today even without my favourite racquet. Really tried to get adjusted to the racquet, but the lack of tension and the weight differential made me strain my arms. So I went home feeling sore all over.

Had my Java test today and thank God everything went on smoothly. The most annoying part was not knowing how to answer most of the theory question but somehow or another I could easily answer the programming part. Maybe it is due to my little interest in looking at codes and studying them that made the task much more easier. All in all it was truely God's grace I could finnish up my test.

Not a very good evening for me. Talked to someone I feel shouldn't have talked too and how she reacted? "I think from now on we can never be friends anymore." Har!! Quite surprised to hear that from your own brethren but seriously, the only thing I did was to spell out the truth from the bottom of my heart, thats all. Anyway I do hope things goes well for her and in time she'll get her rythm back. For now everything just goes on as usual. That just really add weight to the point that women are totally unpredictable and can be a manace. NOTE: I don't mean all women okay?

Anyway here I am doing my assignment and preparing for my test tomorrow. Yes this week, 3 test all together! Very very hectic week but it is truely by God's grace I can still enjoy myself with a game or 2 of badminton and have time to study ( mostly last minute ). Right now I am just preparing some simple notes for the test tomorrow and hopefully it will help. Promised my friend, Ijan to help him study for the Microcontroller Based System subject in which we'll be having another test regarding it on Friday.

As for college life, this semester is proving to be the hardest. The sudden change of syllabus really confused us so much so even the lecturers are finding it hard to understand our text books. At times I feel like giving up but that extra strength inside which keeps me going helps and truely once again must thank God for that. At the end of the day, test after test has gone, I've just realized that it isn't so bad after all.

Excuse For Lost

Broken Racquet
As you notice, the top racquet has no strings attached! It's been 2 weeks since it broke and I have just NO TIME to get it fixed. Because of that, I had to make use with another racquet which i was feeling very uncomfortable with.

My favourite racquet, the "Wilson HYPERcarbon 3.0" was given to me by Uncle Tan, a sport shop owner in Bangsar. Since then I've develope a liking for this racquet as it is light and powerful, really suites my game.

It might be one hell of a racquet but I do receive many complains from peers. They find it hard to use as the string tension that is used, 25 pounds, is abit too tight for them.

So the lack of proper equipment explains why my game was terrible last night. Played singles with Conrad and was having difficulty adjusting to the other racquet. Shots were very wild and my timing was totally out. Guess using racquet as an excuse is the best way to avoid humiliation!! Hahahaha.

Will find a time soon to get my racquet string properly but at the mean time, will have to make do with the make-shift racquet that gave me victory against Uncle Nick and Timo yesterday.

Disruption Again

Once again Telekom send a bunch of monkeys to rewire the whole phone line for our condominium. This caused a 17 hours disruption and I was so worried it will not be done on time for me to book court. But just leave everything to God and went out for my weekly futsal game.

Had a very bad day with terrible headache and cramps but played fairly well today. Scored some goals and then had to leave the pitch due to extream blurry vision and a spinning head. Actually my vision is still pretty blurry now maybe due to oversleeping. And after a while only it dawn upon me, today is Sunday not Saturday. Okay lets get on to "Sunday".

Started the day about 8.30, brush my teeth, had breakfast, iron my clothes, bath, clothe myself, went to church. Service ended early today and we went to "Hoi Kei" restaurant to celebrate Yee Lynn and Tina's birthday. It was really very fun watching baby Tina farting and doing her business while we sang the birthday song! Poor mother forgot to bring extra diapers and had to use a towel to wrap her up. Anyway the food served was great! Fish head, fried egg with oyster, pork's leg thai style, deep fried salad sotong and many more. Once again I was thrown to the children's table and once again, I enjoyed the lack of competition.

Reach home about 4 and took a short nap. Was awaken by a phone call from Wes asking me to swim. At first I agreed but got too cought up with "Bionicle", a cartoon by LEGO that I decided to skip the swimming session. After the movie, went for another short nap and came online. Check my hattrick team. Was quite worried actually because 3 of my best midfielders are sideline with injuries and red cards. But somehow managed to pull a victory in dire circumstances. Had to put my striker in midfield. Anyway after that, just check my mails and chat, and even now still chatting while typing this entry.

Thats all for today.....

Everything Working Fine

Was just starting the blog (note this particular blog is suppose to be for yesterday afternoon ) when this old man dressed in TELEKOM uniform knocked on the gate. I went up to him and asked is there anything I can do? He answered, pretty grumpy old man, "your phone working arr?? This stupid contractor go build dunno wat accidentally cut the telephone line!" So I invited him and told him the symptoms yesterday. He went in straight, looked at my phone, picked it up, dialled a number, spoke in Malay confirming certain stuff then he said, "Okay gautim! Your line putus (broke) because of that stupid contractor simply cut cut." Didn't really get what he meant but what the heck, no harm allowing him to check. After that everything was okay again and the buzzing sound on the phone is gone too.

Skip badminton again yesterday because I have not the time to re-string my racquet. So instead, I took my grandmother and brothers out for dinner at OKR ( Old Klang Road ). Along the way, passed my digicam to Philip for he messaged me asking me for help. Reach the "makan" place when wesley called so invited him along and then Danl and Timo called Wes and they joined us too. We had 3 different dishes of mee and chat for a while mostly about Danl's car which is in the bodyworkshop now. A telephone shop nearby cought out attention, no not because of the phones but because they were displaying the marine tank there. It is a 6ft tank with very well maintained corals and the fishes, clown fish, parrot fish, and many more are all very lively and healthy. So we just paid the shop a visit and started asking lots of question seemingly interested but the cost itself would deter one from setting up such an aquarium.

At home, was online for a while and tried to sleep early. But just couldn't sleep, don't really know why too. Maybe because my midterm is coming soon and worries start creeping in. Many things went through my head, twisting and turning until at last, I fell asleep. Woke up this morning feeling much better, brushed my teeth say a short prayer, ate breakfast and here I am, blogging again. After such a long time blogging, I can feel how empty my blog is compared to others. Maybe because my life is just like a cycle, 1, 2, 3 and it goes on coming back to 1 after a while. Anyway, it is satisfying to know that I'm still breathing and it is because of the grace of God we are all alive.

Anyway woke up with a thought of doing cosmetic for this blog but change my mind now. Mainly because it is not worth the effort. Up to now I am still contemplating whether I should play badminton with Timo's colleague this evening. My dad has an invitation for dinner and he called me along too. Guess the decision will be made later tonight.

False Alarm

For 1 whole day my dad was complaining that we cannot connect to the internet. So I called TMnet to find out the problem. Apparently they suspect I have a software related problem! I kind of agree with them as my DSL light is stable but I keep getting an error message. At night, after coming back from church, I tried it again but this time, even my house phone is not working. I even took out the socket from the wall to check if the wires are connected properly. Everything seems fine except for the fact our phone line is down. We have already paid all the bills to date so it can't be that our line got cut, and even if it is blocked we will still get a message asking us to pay the telephone bill.

Unable to use the internet, I watch a movie with my brother, "Kung Fu Hustle". Not really the type of movie I like, over exaggerated and too much computer animated scenes that looks fake. Anyway I watched it until about 2 a.m. and thought of the phone again. Picked up the phone and there you go, the tone is back. Then I switch on my ADSL modem and the lights are all stable again. Switch on the computer and to my surprise, I was able to connect to the internet again! Was quite happy because I've not set my Hattrick team yet and was abit worried that I might not train my top 2 winger, Joe Seng Huat and Aiman Wong. After connecting, I switch on my MSN and the first thing I get is to be teased by none other than Mr. Wesley. That's why I decided to change my MSN display since he like the picture so much.

Anyway, to conclude, TMnet was having problem around our area so they decided to fix it at night and there was when all the phone line went down. But I am surprised by the lack of information as the technician should be able to have such knowledge before concluding that my computer software is corrupted! I was actually beginning to worry I will not be able to book court on Thursday but truely, once again thank God for everything! Now I just have to find a way to counter Wesley's teasing. One of the best way is to help him develope his webpage. Mind isn't really functioning today as I made mistake after mistake to his template. Will try again later.

MY BROTHER!!! AH HO!!!!

I really find it hillarious, my little brother Ah HO!!! Hahahaha. I was sleeping soundly in the evening about 7 p.m. when I was awaken by this loud noise, yes my brother. He was exclaiming very loudly, "Aiyoh my teacher ar! I don't want to become a pengawas(prefect) wan but ar, don't know why she choose me lor!! Somemore my friends oso vote me to be pengawas!! Aiyoh I don't want to become one lar!!!!!" He said he has the most vote and was busy debating with my grandmother that he is forced to be a prefect. We were all puzzled because it is never compulsory to be a prefect nomatter how much the teacher forces you to be one. Later on we found out he was only play acting as it is his desire to be a prefect to show off to my other brother, Daniel, who was once a prefect and is more than happy to relinguish that position!

There goes another day of play acting by my very infamous brother, Ah HO!!!!!! He's pretty famous in school too I was told, teasing everyone especially Malay girls!! And even right now he is begging me not to post this but I know deep within he actually wants me to post. How I know? Easy, he's my brother and I know he wants attention!! Hahahahaha.

Free At Last??

YAHOO!!!!! Finnished my "Business Accounting" test today. I really don't fancy this subject, NOT ONE BIT!! But that's life, you have to go through things you don't like. Really thank God, I literally studied last minute, as in maybe 5-6 hours before the test and my study methods are more than sufficient. Just randomly pick the topic I like most and concentrate on those selected few. In total, I picked 3 chapters and went through all the pass questions doing it and trying to remember the formulas.

I was in college doing some last minute revision when my friend joined me. Instead of being more vigilant, we played some table tennis! Well it is just my excuse to "release tension" haha. So after the game of table tennis, we continued our studies. Just whispered a short prayer to the Lord before I continued.

The test started at 2 p.m. I can sense the tense presense all around as most of my classmates are pretty serious with their studies, one attribute I need to learn from them. I tried to calm myself down by gulping down huge amount of water. We were first handed the answer sheet and then, the question paper. Most of my classmates were pretty sad with all of them exclaiming "SEI LOR!!!". You see, our college lecturers aren't really that friendly. They don't give us much tips. As I heard most of them "dying" I felt pretty nervous too, that was until I got the question paper. At that very moment, THANK GOD!! All the three chapters I touch on actually is the last 3 subjective questions!!!! With that I am pretty sure by God's grace I'll pass the paper. That's all for the exam, lets move on;

Last week was a very hectic week for me. We have 2 assignments due on the same day and we had to study for today's test too. Because of that couldn't find sufficient time to blog consistently. There were some incidents here and there especially the futsal friendly my friends and I were involved in on Saturday. I was on a verge of skipping it until our kind Wes offered to drive me there. The game itself was quite a brawl. Our opponent was determined to beat us by relying on new rulings and extreamly physical approach. Yet our calmness and experience prevailed over youth and exuberance. Even though they were 2 goals up during the initial stages, we replied with plenty more, so much more that we happily conceed a few to square things up. We were actually quite tired and lethargic that is why we conceeded so many but I added the "happily conceeding" to save some face. Doesn't matter really, we won! Haha.

One of our player, Danl, got hurt quite badly after a rash challenge by the opponent and his brother, Phil had cramps on both his legs so we had to carry him to the car.

Sunday, went to church in the morning and went for swimming at night with a few friends. Nothing much except for the time Ah Fai lost to my sister in the 50m sprint! Forgot my towel this time but Little James was kind enough to provide towels that day. That would be all for now, enjoy!

LRT LRT

Encountered a very amusing scenario today, yes, PUTRA LRT! I guess they never really maintain their trains well. It happened when I was on my way back from Ampang Park station. I entered the second door, always choose the middle door because that is where the air cond blows hard. As usual the door will close after the alarm sounds twice. I was actually rushing because I was all sweaty and the heat was killing me, can't wait to go home and take a cold shower! After the alarm, the door closed except the one I was nearest too! So the alarm rang again and all the doors opened for about 20 seconds and closed again. I thought okay that was all, maybe just a slight mechanical malfunction.

The next stop is KLCC station. It was only 4p.m. but the station was totally packed. Anticipating that I was going to get squeezed, I hurrily find an empty and strategic spot to stand at. So the train stopped and the doors opened. Everyone started pouring into the train. As the alarm sounded again as a signal the door will close, one smart fellow blocked the door and it got stuck. Normally if something like this happens all the doors will open up and close again quite quickly. But this time, it took some time for everything to go back to normal and the amount of people inside the train was very very uncomfortable. We halted for about 30 seconds and then everything went back to normal.

Next stop is Kampung Baru. One train operator stepped into the train and checked the doors. It was so crowded he was having difficulty moving around. And again the alarm sounded and the doors closed again. This time, the first door got stuck and the operator decided to manually close the door and LOCK IT. Then he shouted out, "Pintu ini akan ditutup. Sila guna pintu sebelah," and he repeated it in English ,"Door no work, use that door," ( NOTE: I quoted directly from what I heard 100% ) and started pointing at the next door which is the one I am nearest too. So the train moved again and he switched on his walkie-talkie and started conversing, here's what I could catch, " Door sudah shut down. Send sticker blocking the door. zshszshzshzhs ( some buzzing sound )." So the train stopped next at Dang Wangi, the operator went off as a new worker came in with a piece of paper and some masking tape. He was also struggling to move around as the crowd was simply massive today. But he managed to reach the first door, which is now totally shut out, and stick the paper there. The notice went like this, "PINTU ROSAK, SILA GUNA PINTU SEBELAH," and "Please use the next door."

So the train stopped at Masjid Jamek station. By then all the passangers have already learn about the malfunctioning door so they squeeze and push their way out and despite my big built, I felt like being tossed around like a doll. I thought everything would be alright by then until the alarm sounds and when the door was closing, another smart, or dumb fellah must just stick his hands out blocking the door and there goes again!!! While all this took place, time was constantly wasted!!

Next stop, Pasar Seni. That station wasn't so crowded unlike Masjid Jamek and KLCC. I was pretty excited already, almost HOME! So once again the alarm sounded and this time one old man blocking the door again!!! And it must happen right in front of me!!! A simple one way trip that usually takes only 20 minutes this time took 40 minutes with a train loaded with passenger. First time in my life as a LRT commuter I encounter such bizarre situation that the train MUST be held up at every station it stops at!

Actually I did have another funny encounter when I was on my way to Ampang Park. It didn't really effect me so I didn't voice out to that old aunty aka madam who was very very rude towards a little kid. I entered the train at KL Sentral together with this particular family which I spotted. A malay family, husband and wife with 3 little yet very cute kids. I was talking to one of the shy kids and teasing him abit and I offered him my seat and he gave me this very very sweet smile. So the train proceeded and stopped at Pasar Seni. Here comes one lady in her mid 50's with hairstyle of the late 80's carrying a plastic bag from Ocean. She came in, looked around and went straight to that little kid whom I offered my seat too. What she said next really wasn't nice at all. Here's what she said, "Excuse me! Seats are for old people only!! Now let me SIT!" The poor kid looked lost tears flowed as he rush out of his seat and ran to his mother who was seating the opposite direction. COME ON!!! If u want a seat, PICK ON THOSE TEENAGERS SITTING DOWN WITH CROSS LEGS listening to their RADIO LA!!! That poor boy can't even walk properly yet and you do him such a favour, making him confused and started to cry. I wanted to chirp in and tell the lady off but held back because I didn't want to cause any commotion.

But what happened was indeed food for thought. I really did have this notion that we Malaysians are friendly and considerate, especially the older generation! But what happen today was really unacceptable in my dictionary. I am not suggesting that the elderly are all selfish and self -centered but that particular Lady or Madam or Mrs or most probably MISS!!! Gosh I better keep my cool!! I really do hope we keep up our status as a friendly nation with good character and a willing helper to the needy.

2 Days Of FOOD!!!!

FOOD!!!!

Unbelievable, I think I ate more the past 2 days then what an average person would in a week. Thanks to some kind and understanding friends who seems to provide endless love by fattening me up! Anyway I really appriciate the meals thanks guys.

It started on wednesday afternoon at Yummy's kitchen. A family of 11 ( including me of course ) harrased the table with such violence maggie mee would be so humiliated with their advertisement! And the best part, there wasn't any sensored part!! We ate everything served, curry fish head, char siew, steam herbal chicken, home made tauhu, yau mak, and many more.

In the evening a stop at Chilis proved the exploding point. Lamb chop ( it was abit small but satisfying because I was very full ) with leftovers and a huge ice-cream. After that I find myself having difficulty walking and almost threw out a few times at home. That robbed me of my precious sleep because of the many false alarm!

Thursday, was called for lunch at Kanna's Curry House. Ate 2 fillings of rice with crab curry, chicken, fried squid and left with a totally filled stomach. Went over to Megamall later as Wes wanted to buy a cake for Anneh's birthday. Wes was kind enough to pay for the cake even though I offered a small share of it stating that he is working and should pay for it. Went to the Digi shop to find out what is wrong with my camera phone but it was abit sad they couldn't find the actual cause for the lousy picture quality. I tried looking for LCD monitors too, checking out the prices but was fairly dissapointed with the shops there. After that had some homemade icecream and then went home.

At night, dinner at Casa Venicia with Uncle Richard and geng. Was kicked to the kids table by small James ( how loving ) and that table provided me with no challenge whatsoever. Ate till I was full, it means that the table was empty when I was satisfied, and then proceeded home.

As you can see, 2 full days of eating and now I have gained about 3-4kgs. Have to start exercising and controlling my intake from today onwards hahahaha

March 16

Yesterda, March 15, I had a 3 hour class in the morning. So I set my alarm to wake me up at 7.45 but woke up much earlier 7.30. Took a shower, brush my teeth, said my prayers and then had some Red Bean Pao. My mom drove me to the LRT station in Bangsar and I took a train to Ampang Park where my college is situated. Reached there about 9.10. It was abit unusual today, the lecturer was early, something that never happened before. When he opened the classroom, there were only 2 students including me! Subject for today is Project Management. We were made to do some activities but all the tired and hungry minds couldn't concentrate and all of us did it in a hurry, passed it up and went for a break.

Left my college about 12.05 after discussing with my friend about Microcontrolling and stuff ( assignment questions ). When I reached home, was greeted as usual by my brothers. They are having school holiday for the week so I enjoy playing a fool or more like bullying them hehehe. They started blogging too ( just added their link ) and they seem to enjoy posting pictures with lots of comments ( please forgive their English, my fault, never guide them ). Anyway, Samuel is abit vain, so you can understand his posts. Daniel is a little bit more conservative but I love both of them very much. Samuel is always in the limelight for his funny antics and his extreamly vain nature, that is one part of him that I really don't like. He can spend almost 1/2 hour combing his hair infront of the mirror.

I spend the afternoon sleeping as the weather is much better today. Went to church at night and after that headed for supper at Kinrara, Sri Petaling. At first I wasn't planning to do that but a last minute decision by my dad, asking me to guide a friend to RA ( a restaurant ) forced me to go. Instead of eating at RA, I went over to Kinrara and was joined by Wesley, Danl, Lip Lip and my sister. After supper I went over to Danl's house to rest while waiting for my dad to pick me up. I reached home about 2 am, took a shower and then started to type this blog. My brothers are now watching "My first $20million" at channel 40. So I guess I'll leave them in peace now. It was funny, I received a message from a friend claiming she was at RA but I didn't spot her there, maybe the place was too crowded and I didn't really pay attention but anyway thank God for the blessing!

I was pretty shocked to receive alot of SMS today (16th March). Never really told anyone about my date of birth before but it was really very nice of them to wish me. Thank you and thank God for such friends and brothers.

WOW!!!

We were totally cought by surprise as a sudden rain, really really very very heavy rain poured. The wind that follows was very destructive. Our sliding door was blown off track and our bamboo curtain broke because of the wind. It came without warning and only lasted for 5 minutes. After that, silence overwhelmed us. My dad and I tried to fix the sliding door in vain and we had to wait for the rain to subside before we can continue our work.

Today is a very blurry day for me. Since this morning, my mind was pretty empty, a very funny feeling. If it wasn't for the sms I received, I wouldn't have woke up. Even after breakfast I felt blank, even food couldn't revive me. I was feeling lethargic the whole day until about 7.30 when I step into the badminton court; I realize i wasn't that lethargic afterall, maybe it was just my mind playing tricks making me think I am lethargic, or maybe my poor brain just needed some rest, and rest it did have as I was sleeping most of the day, twisting and turning on my bed actually, can't find the correct position to be comfortable with.

Badminton was fun today, even though I lost one of the set playing with Danl, who used to be my regular partner. Played a singles with uncle Kua, dominated and easily beat him. Later, my racquet string broke while playing the doubles game and I didn't have a spare racquet that suites me well. So I had to make do with my sister's spare racquet. Even though the tension was too low for my liking, I managed to adapt but had to sacrifice powerful smashes for a more delicate stroke game.

I went over to Phile's house to borrow "KungFu Hustle" for my brothers to watch. Unfortunately, he gave me the correct cover with the wrong content. When I played the CD, all i hear is chinese music and being a person who doesn't appriciate chinese music, I put it away. Can't up to now I feel blank and blurry. So I guess I'll head off to bed early today.

Sunday!!!

As usual, Sunday is Church day! So my family and I woke up early as we usually do every Sunday. Mom prepared fried rice, it was excellent! As usual my youngest brother start occupying the toilet to release his BOMB!!! Don't really like it because he will do it more than once in a span of 30 minutes, most of the time it is just his habit of sitting on the toilet bowl, just to mark territory!

I reached church early today, about 9.50, and went on doing my duties. Church service as usual is very edifying. The fellowship was nice and informative. After service, I had two plates of chicken rice together with my family and then we headed straigt home for a short nap. But, as usual, my brothers will be there to disrupt my afternoon nap, so we ended up without any sleep at all.

I went over to Bukit OUG at about 8pm for swimming and table tennis. Was joined by Wesley, William, Aaron, Ah Fai, small Jacob, small James, my brothers and my sister. There were others who were suppose to join us but due to unforseen circumstances and situation, they didn't make it. One say she's tired and busy, the other not feeling well but the show still goes on! Swimming was alright, feel rusty and out of breath. I'm still getting the hang of table tennis, it is a very new game for me. The speed is alright but the problem is getting the right feel for the ball and bat. Unlike badminton, a table tennis table is much smaller thus requiring more accuracy and delicate touch but due to many years of badminton, I was abit rough on the table tennis ball. All the ideas for the game is there but the lack of experience often lead me to sending the ball "miles" wide! Anyway I am pretty determined to learn this game. Ah Fai is a good player and a very willing mentor too. He gave me alot of tips to help improve my game.

After table tennis, I went up to James' place for a shower and we had supper at Nathan's Corner. Due to my carelessness I left my car keys inside the car and didn't notice it until I finnish my meal and notice how empty my pockets were. But thank God James was there. He owns a Mitsubishi Galant and so happen his door key can fit into my Proton Saga. Don't ask me how, must be a miracle!!!

So here I am after an enjoyable day, getting ready for bed but of course I will have to fill this blog first. Totally satisfying day, thank God for everything!

Another Fun Day

Woke up in the morning about 9.30 after small James called out from outside. He bought us nasi lemak and some fried mee. After that I couldn't sleep anymore. Received a message from my friend about something disturbing but it was really nothing much, what we all need is MORE GRACE!!!

After that I tried to contact Danl who wanted me to guide him to a body workshop at Puchong. It seems his car was nicely reshaped at the side, by accident of course, after a careless lady driver ( yes lady driver ) decided that the car needed a better relationship with one of the pillars in Megamall! Of course I will not reveal the name but everything is settled now. At about 1 O'clock, Danl replied my message. He wasn't at home then, he was at his girlfriend's place so I decided to take the LRT to Kelana Jaya and he will pick me up from there. I brought along my digicam to take pictures for a blog entry. Little did I know my loving brothers forgot to switch off the camera and the battery died. There goes my plan!

I reached Kelana Jaya station at about 2.20 and waited 10 minutes for Danl. After that we headed straight for Puchong. The journey there was surprisingly smooth, the traffic jam that we are all so used too wasn't there...SURPRISE!! SURPRISE!! The workshop owner is Sudas, a good friend of my dad and he quoted Danl a pretty good price, so we were all satisfied and headed straight for lunch, mind you my stomach was really grumbling then!

After lunch we went back to the workshop for a short discussion and then headed straight for futsal at Kinrara. I enjoyed the game very much, was in quite good form and managed to score a couple of goals. The only problem I encountered today is my toe nail. I was running when I felt a sudden pain and couldn't run properly after that. The nail sort of got separated with the skin and that's it, pain and numbness all over my big toe!

After that my good old friend Wesley offered my brothers and I a lift home. I was getting worried as our transport, "Little James" had an emergency call and he had to run to his wife's rescue. So once again, Wesley the savior haha, thanks alot dude, will try to repay you with food next time.

Reached home about 8 I think, cannot really recall the time, and tried to take a short nap but thanks to my brothers again!! I couldn't. They were playing and making plenty of noise in the room. So instead of sleeping I joined them too hahaha. After that I watch the second half of the FA Cup between Bolton and Arsenal. Of course Arsenal won but Bolton gave a very spirited display even thought that monkey Diouf got sent off very early.

So now here I am, writting what should be the final edition for today. After this I will be booking court and heading for bed!!

Yet Another Day

Today is another boring day. Just came back from Red Antz ( a restaurant in Sri Petaling ). I ate mee and Ramlee Burger for supper, don't know why I can eat so much also, maybe it is time for me to control and lose some weight.

Nothinig much to write about really, had a nice chat with Mark and Lemon. They were asking me alot of question aboud Windows, Linux, Lindows, so I feed them with whatever information I've gather the pass few months. Besides that we talked about game consoles too, commenting on their graphics, what type of processors and so forth, pretty informative and fun talking and mixing around with people younger than me. You can learn alot from them and vice versa. It helps keep one humble and improve your ability to socialize better.

In the afternoon, I was a some time going through this blog and trying to manipulate the template to suite my liking. After studying the codes and all, I decided to create another blog about Malaysia. You will be able to find the link here. I spend quite some time too changing the templates again, what to do, I am not a webpage designer that is why took me so long to figure things out.

That would be all for today. I will be checking out whats going on with my team in Hattrick after this. Most of my friends are playing this game. It is a very fun, simple yet addictive game which runs in real time. Check it out here if you want to learn more. Maybe, just maybe I'll post about this game later. As for now, tiredness and sleepiness is causing me to type with my eyes closed, literally. So that would be all for now.

Gosh!!!

Woke up very late today, about 12pm. Brush my teeth, had a short prayer, took breakfast and watch a movie. It was about time for college when my dad called and tell me to clean the old refrigerator we were going to give away to some Indonesian friends who are visiting for a short while. They are staying in an apartment and they need a refrigerator, that is why my dad decided to give the one we are not using anymore.

After cleaning it, received a call from Uncle Chin who is going to transport it. By the time we got it into his van, it was already 1.30pm which means I will be late for college. So I decided to skip class for the day for a legitimate reason hehehe.

I actually wrote a pretty lenghty post yesterday but it seems that this blogger site likes to send me alot of error message. I guess I'll just recap and summarize what I wanted to wanted to post yesterday.

In the afternoon, my dad decided to take granny and I out for some "thong sui" with uncle "Yoke" and aunty "lose" ( wouldn't want to use their real name ). We had red bean soup and a glass of sugarcane. Besides that, we were talking and joking about many things and...well...I felt abit embarassed too as aunty "lose" started teasing me hahaha, but I understand, they were all doing it for fun and don't really mean it.

After that we stop by a Digi outlet at Megamall to repair my phone. It seems that the network chip is fried that is why there is no signal detected. Thank God the phone was still under waranty so it can be fixed easily.

Was very happy after the phone rang for it was a sign that my Handphone is ready. So I went over to Megamall with my granny and we visited Carrefour for a while before heading to the Digi outlet to collect the phone. Geesh I was pretty dissapointed as they had to format the memory chip and thus all the pictures I have taken and all the phone numbers I have stored was all wiped out. Besides that the ring tone that I like the most was also gone. The person offered to download some new ring tones for me but I declined for they will incure some extra charges. Will just send over to my friend's store to do it for free.....adios!

Short lived Joy

I really thought my phone was working fine again until, 2 hours later, the same problem persisted. Called the digi customer service to check on my status and they say my sim is active, no problems what so ever. As a conclusion, something wrong with my phone. So I went to the Digi outlet in midvalley and have the phone checked and found out the problem.....Darn network IC overheated and burnt!!! Geesh it was a faulty solder that caused the short. Haha anyway it is okay, since it is under waranty make them change the IC for me.

Before that my dad, granny and I went over for "thong sui". We had red bean soup and a glass of sugarcane water. Joining us is uncle "Yoke" and Aunty "Lose". We had a nice chat as usual, teasing one another and sharing all sorts of stuff with each other. My granny made a new friend too!! Madam Loke i would put it. All in all a more relaxed day and now I am just sitting down here waiting for time to pass.

It's a MIRACLE!

Woke up this morning, brush my teeth, morning prayers and then checked my phone. Unbelievable!!! After 2 days of frustration, it came back to life!! Hahaha gosh I actually have 5 miss calls and dozens of SMS. Thank God as I wanted to go to the Digi centre already if this problem persist and imagine how much time will be lost going through that process.

Slept really early this morning, 6 am, watching the Arsenal and Bayern Munich game. Good game but lacking that extra edge unlike the Chelsea and Barcelona game. Indeed my predictions were right, Arsenal did win, 1-0, but Bayern made it through the next stage with a 3-2 aggregate. Most of the game was quite boring with neither team making any significant progress but Bayern looked dangerous with their speedy attacks and fluent passing. It wasn't until the second half when Arsenal burst into life and started to fire more shots towards the goalmouth.

The goal from Henry was of sheer quality, stopping the ball with his right and then a half volley with his left, 2 touches was all it took to unlock the German defense. But too bad that was the only goal of the day and the match ended with Bayern sending everyone into their half to defend for they were still leading 3-2 on aggregate.

As for the other games, Juventus scrape through with a last minute winner during the second half of extra time after they were handed a lifeline from David Tre ( can't remember how to spell his name ) coming into this leg 0-1 down. Liverpool was the surprise again with a 3-1 win over Bayern Leverkusen. Monaco, last year beaten finalist was send packing by a speedy and youthful PSV.

That's all for now, really a happy day for me as my phone is working again! Hahaha now I don't have to worry I'll miss out on any SMS that says, "Wanna go out for makan?". Geesh I actually missed one meal hahahaha.

There You Go.. Another Day of Smiles and Frown

Very dissapointing day as my handphone JUST CAN'T SEEMS TO WORK!!! Actually it suffered the symptom last night itself but I thought it would be okay as I have encountered the experience once just momentarily. But then again, new record for 2 days straight my so called phone cannot detect the network. Geesh really frustrating as I cannot receive any calls or sms from friends and family.

Well what to do send it to the DIGI centre tomorrow and hopefully they replace my phone hahahaha. It can be terribly irritating as I really needed the phone in the afternoon and this kind of things happen!!! Because of that my day was pretty much ruin as I was unable to establish contact with a few of my friends doing the JAVA program.

Besides that little hickup, badminton was abit more enjoyable. Its an irony, I mean life. I remember when I was 12, dad took me for my first ever badminton game. I was so bad even the aunties don't want to play with me, end up going there doing nothing sitting down with my racquet. Almost gave up the game once and for all until I found a friend who is willing to teach me the basics and from there on my game steadily improved. And now uncles are complaining that I am abit too fast for them to cope and thus once again I am faced with the same dilemma, nobody to play with. Too bad teens my age aren't so sporting anymore. To them, badminton is a lame game that is why I don't get to play much. The very few friends who are my "badminton kaki" is preoccupied with their work and personal life so that leaves me with not much game experience and very little room for improvement. Can't complain much, today was much better as I got the chance to play with a good player and even managed to steal a set from him..SWEET VICTORY!! But deep within, I know how much I can push myself further if just I have the proper players to play with. Anyway life goes on by God's grace.

Granny cooked some crab today and it was SUPERB! Ate a few and leaving much more for tomorrow as she said, the sauce will be absorb by the crab haha....can't wait for the taste. This batch of crab is excellent, meat packed and sweet totally have that feel sinking it into your mouth!!

That's all for today actually, basically did nothing the whole day but just sitting down discussing with my dad about the Chelsea and Barcelona game and how Barca should have gone through if just the referee spotted the infringement. Well enough of Barca and Chelsea, watching out for Arsenal and Bayern Munich. This game I would expect Arsenal to win but Bayern going through. Should be a hell of a match!! HOPEFULLY!! hehe

FOOD FOOD AND MORE FOOD! Especially those I like

Alrite I really really want to write about the topic I love the most!! Maybe write a poem about it or sing a song. But at this stage, i notice how little you can write about food but how much you can really eat it!! Hahahaha.

Lets start with spicy food! Truely Asian delight. I can openly admit that I can't live without spicy food and EVERYDAY!! I MEAN EVERYDAY!!! I'll have at least one meal with curry or chilly or anything spicy!! One of my favourite food with spices is "nasi lemak" which directly translated means oily rice. The rice is made from coconut extract instead of water and nice spicy part comes from the "sambal". A good sambal makes for a fantastic meal. Other spicy food I adore, CURRY!! LOTS OF CURRY!! Curry chicken, mutton curry, crab with curry........and I especially like home made curry. When I say home made I literally mean it, my mom and grandmother, they are SUPERB curry chefs!! Hahaha.

Besides that, stewed food catches my attention too. I like stewed pork (no offense to muslims yah) but frankly I like any meat associated with stewed recipe. And of course home cook is always the best. My granny is an expert in Hainan style stewed pork with black fungus and mushroom whereas my mother is good with stewed lamb. All in all, stewed stuff opens up my appetite and it makes me really hungry...YUMYUM!!!

In a way, Western food can sometimes be appealing but I don't like the idea of eating without rice. I am sure you can guess why I like curry and stewed stuff, they go very well with rice. So far, chicken chop, lamb chop, grilled ribs and all they are nice if taken once in a while and it's been almost a year since I've tasted it, hope to go for some quality western food soon....

Besides that, there are many variety of noodles out there. In Malaysia, we call it "mee". Pan Mee, Yee Mee, Hokkien Mee, spagetti and so forth. Generally I like mee, it's tasty and can be prepared with curry, soup, dry, fried...you name it! Besides that, it is easy to prepare a dish with mee and you can add anything u like according to your imagination and taste. So far, I've always enjoyed Seafood Mee with soup, totally delicious!

Okay before I end this section let me introduce my current favourite food, BKT ( Bak Kut Teh ). It's made of many herbs and spices with pork dipped into the soup. The secret to a good meal is of course the ingredients of the soup and the skill of chefs taking away the foul smell of pork especially the internal organs like intestine, stomach and so forth. So if any of you wants some good BKT, feel free to contact me hahaha.

I would really like to write more, seafood, exotic food but it seems my mind is pretty blank right now, maybe because I've not taken my dinner yet. Well that's basically what I can conjure out about food and mind you, I REALLY ENJOY FOOD!!!!!! So one piece of advice, don't waste your food and learn how to enjoy the food you have. If you don't like it think of the people who spend their time preparing it.

Haha Who You Can Call A Friend

It is really weird, I try not to involve anyone's name in my post in order to keep it interesting and to have a little bit of privacy. But I think I'll change my policy just for this once to write about one of my closer friend Mr. Wesley, and rest assured everything I write here is from true experiences and true feelings

The very reason why I would like to honour him with one of my post is because of the nice things he has to say about me in his blog. I'll provide the link for your reference at the end of this post so please be patient. Let me inform you with a little bit of Wesley according to my best of knowledge and my view towards him.

I've known him for many years now, how many I really cannot remember. The first impression of him wasn't that all good I would say, maybe because I was kinda quiet and canservative that time and getting to know someone so bubbly and full of confidence kind of throw me off abit. Nevertheless mixing around with him changed me alot and made me more relaxed and compose when talking to others. The only one thing that pricked me off about him last time was his ability to tease and shoot someone down with words that would sometimes hurt others and I've personally witness it myself how he does it. Maybe it was his character so I actually started to come out with all sorts of pranks to play on him, just for fun actually.

The pranks started at the swimming pool. I had quite some fun indirectly teasing him in the there. No doubt he is a good swimmer with good basics and a good built, but my brothers and I were quite a class above when it comes to proper strokes and timing. Beating him in races was only the beginning of our pranks, next came the revolutionary 8 stroke which I thought him. It was actually derived from one of the actual strokes I was learning but it was kinda funny twisting it. I could see that he was very sceptical about the 8 stroke but after a few demonstration I finally got him to do it. The 8 stroke is actually a very complex method of water catching which should theoritically improve the velocity of your pulls. So in the end we had quite a laugh watching Wes doing the twist with his wrist trying to simulate the number 8 before the actually pulling. Err wes please do not be angry, I believe u have perfected the stroke very well.

Anyway that is the pass and years were to come when we pulled out a few more pranks on him. But then things are different now for the better of course. By God's grace he is a changed man. While still being his bubbly and energetic self, he has learn how to sober down and not shoot down others with words that hurts. So as years passed we became good friends and we can talk to each other very very freely without suspicion. What more we both share the same interest, "FOOD".

I would love to share more about the "FOOD" area but then maybe on my next post I'll write some things about food what I prefer and so on. One thing for sure, Wes and I, we look for 2 very important element when we hunt for food, Q&Q which stands for Quality and Quantity. So if anyone of you out there would like to give us a treat, no sweat just make sure it complies to the Q & Q regulation.

So to wrap things up I'll just leave you with my dear friend's blog, http://weswee.blogspot.com. You will find that his post really reflects his true self, happy, bubbly, friendly...etc. So that's all for now and thanks for remembering me in a few of your post. And yeah, for all readers, please don't go out searching for the 8 stroke, it's a hoax but if you insist, try searching for water pulling technic or what other name you can come out with, you might just get lucky.

Oh Chelsea!!!

If u read my previous blog you'll notice that I actually predicted Chelsea to win, guess what!!! THEY DID!!! Even though Barcelona was the better team with 63% of ball possession!!!! Well I have to admit Barca deserves to win.

I cannot believe that the referee allowed the last goal as it was clear Calvalho was blocking Barca's keeper, Victor Valdez, when terry headed the ball. I am telling you, Chelsea is a lucky team, really really lucky. The match was pretty intriguing with Chelsea making use of their speedy counter attacks to score 3 goals during the first 19 minutes. I was totally shell shocked as I was watching the other live game, AC Milan and ManU, when they Chelsea scored the second and third goal. My dad and I couldn't believe the scoreline. So that game cought our interest and I wasn't dissapointed at all as Barca started to pile up the pressure and of course got a deserving goal from the spot kick after Feirrera handled the ball inside the penalty area. Pretty stupid penalty to be giving away in my opinion as there was not much of a threat yet inside. So up came Ronaldinho slotting home the ball even though Petr Cech got a fingertip to it.

I was really hoping for Barca to score another goal and WHAT A SUBLIME GOAL IT WAS!!! Totally vintage football as the runs of Barca's players and the clever chip of Ronaldinho totally fooled the keeper!!! Sheer class and quality one would put it, totally deserving! So there it goes with Barca keeping more than 60% of the ball knocking it around like child's play and not committing too quickly.

But then again, luck wasn't on their side as Terry headed home from a corner and our ref, Collina didn't spot the infringement on Valdez. It was clear Chelsea's bid to press Barca took a toll on the players and they looked tired at the end. But all in all a very good tactical play by Morinho side as they man marked players like Ronaldinho very well.

All in all a great game to watch with both teams relying on different tactics and in the end a win to Chelsea with an aggregate scoreline of 5-4 to book their slot into the next round. And as for MU, I was really hoping they would lose (Not a big fan of MU) and true enough Hernan Crespo!!! hahaha....don't ask me, I didn't witness the triumphant moment but I enjoyed the result very very much .

Virtual reality Or REALITY?

Hrm....it's late or should I say really early in the morning and waiting for the Chelsea and Barcelona game to begin. Since I am already connected to the internet why not talk about it more??

Most of us use the internet for a valid reason, maybe to look for information or etc. Same goes for me. I enjoy reading through forums and news, but I think one part of internet that makes it interesting is the availability of IM (instant messaging). No doubt about it I love to chat online but more or less I try to limit myself.

Everyone in my contact list are people I know personally either close or well just friends. Maybe there is a difference between virtual communication and real communication. I've got this friend from china whom we NEVER talked to in person, but then again when she left this country, she started talking to me via IM. Gosh i was wondering, "This person can really talk," but then again it made me wonder why can't she do that in person last time?

Hrm maybe that is just one case, well I've got plenty of other friends who can REALLY talk through the net but when I meet them in person, things seems different. Makes me wonder, is this a healthy habit? Aren't we suppose to be ourself and not hide behind a mask? I've always been myself nomatter in person or in a virtual world but mostly I've learn to adapt to the different ways people present themselves to be. So I guess I'll have to employ the "What you see me in person is what you get online" haha....well in short the way we communicate in person, that is how we should communicate online. It yields a more natural enviroment and not the hypocritical approach.

Maybe the idea of instant messaging isn't so healthy after all...my goodness even my 2 young brothers can flirt around using MSN messenger with unknown people. Since then I had limit their access to the internet and warn them not to play around with people they don't know. In my opinion, this virtual world actually doesn't really bring anyone closer together....most words are mere "words" that can be typed easily and are usually forgotten in matter of seconds!!(even though I actually mean what I type all the time).

Okay enough of IM can't wait for the game to begin....geesh why must all the interesting matches be held so late for us Malaysians?? Hahahaha....don't know why, even though I am full of support for Barca but just have this deep feeling Chelsea might just have the edge. I really don't like Chelsea, not because of their game play or what, no doubt they are a class act being very all rounded offensively and defensive but then, maybe I'll post up some news about their "works" later hahaha.....

Little sisters

Since I've just have a little encounter with my little sis, maybe I should just write about her............

I was 5 that time when my mom was pregnant. I was so very happy because she had gone through miscariage when i was 2. After 9 months wait, FINALLY!!! she arrived MY SWEET LITTLE SISTER. Words could never describe HOW HAPPY I WAS!!!!

I watch her grow from a sweet plum little, indeed she was fat when she was young. She was REALLY REALLY cute then and I love to play with her alot. But after a few years, our relationship was on the rocks. I really don't understand maybe it was me or maybe it was her both of us can't get along well at all!!! As the eldest in the family, I know this is bad, very very bad so I tried my very best to mend our relationship.

Years passed and nothing improved. It got so bad we can't look eye to eye at all and we were constantly putting blame on each other and finding fault with each other. I really couldn't stand it anymore and just brought the matter up to our God almighty. It was just before her primary graduation things had become good. I notice she listens to me more and thus it makes me feel more comfortable with her around. At last we our relationship was mended, now i can talk to her freely as i can with my twin bros (mind u those 2 are pesky terrors!! HAHA).

So life goes on as usual by God's grace. But things took a slight twist when she entered secondary school. She began to be very defensive in her approach, you just cannot correct her wrongs. Maybe it is the "women syndrome" I hear alot where all women goes through a time during their teens that makes them feel BIG and they feel they know everything and can do anything they like whereas the truth is, they really don't know ANYTHING!!

She did improve after a few years but today's incident opened my eyes and showed me that she still has alot to learn. Even a simple advice to her in the car and she started murmuring and grumbling...gosh and now, after 1 hour, she have not even spoken a word to me. What else can I do than to commit all things to God's hands and well try to guide my little sister. She's no more little though, now she's all grown up, tall and slim with very good looks. Nowonder many guys in school gives her much attention but that is one thing I worry for her too. Many times I'd advice her not to get too close with school peers for i feel their influence was negative. It is not that she doesn't have friends, our family friends are all very well brought up by their parents. What i want her to learn from her peers is the family bond which I see lacking in most of us youths today.

Hahahaa not that I am complaining or what about my sister but I am pretty sure all brothers wants their lil kiddies to grow up knowing right from wrong. Please do not get me wrong, not that I am trying to imply that I can determine right from wrong perfectly, but we are all learning and I have learn from my teen days what bad influence can bring. What more can i say, everyone is learning and hopefully I can learn from my sister as she is learning from me.

Hot and tiring day as usual

So another day is almost gone.....4.44 is the time i choose to enroll a new post don't really know why but couldn't do my usual afternoon nap so i decided to well find things to write

Went home at about 12 and took a short nap then went out for makan with my dad and over to "little" james place to check out on his house renovation.

Nothing much I can add on..my mind is pretty empty today after a nice chat with a friend last night. Thank God for all the supportive and kind friends I have, makes me feel very comfortable with their presense around. Anyway i guess that is all for now....geeessshh....really don't know how to fill out this blog. hav a good day ya all
