Ah Mah's special wine

Here's a picture, process of making rice wine. Of course my grandmother is an expert in it but there's a catch this time! One helpful family member of mine tried to help by changing the cover of the pot but it turned out all bad! Of course my grandmother is furious after spending so much time fermenting it for more than a month, now she notice that it will not turn out good. As you can see, the red spots are not meant to be there! It's a sign of intrusion, other unwanted element that somehow or another managed to creep into the pot while the cover was being changed. According to Ah Mah, we are not suppose to expose the lid and we are not even supppose to move the pot for it will disturb the enzyme that's fermenting the rice. In fact, exposing it to light will cause failure!
Here you can witness to what extend my grandmother wanted it to be a success! She ask me to print out a warning paper and place it near the pot.

Poor Ah Mah, she spend quite alot to buy the "fermentation bread" which looks like pieces of sylinder shaped dried bread. That's the fermentation agents and that's the bread that's suppose to house the enzyme. Anyway, I've just spoken to her and she's pretty optimistic that she can salvage some of the wine at the bottom, of course I'll think twice before consuming it after taking a closer look at the red stuff!! Oh yeah, by the way, this wine is not for getting drunk! It's usually used for cooking and Ah Mah is especially fond of using it to go with her famous "Mee Suah" which I believe one of my friend is having trouble cooking that dish hehe.

FootBall CLUBS!!!

Aha, here goes another post and this time it is about? FOOTBALL CLUBS!!! No, I'm not talking about Chelsea or Arsenal and not even about Hattrick! It's the real life analogy (from Timo) linking football clubs with real life. AHA!!! Let your immagination run wild now, THINK THINK!!! Or if you're lazy to think, just read on. NOTE: I will not disclose the full content of discussions and analogy in full but more likely clues here and there.

It all started about 2 weeks back when I was talking online with a dear friend of mine, Timothy Prakash aka Timo FC. Yes, he gives every living men a club and so happen his is called Timo FC! According to Timo, his current club consist of 2 main players and 1 substitute. And once again I will not be able to reveal the actual meaning of "Player" here but just keep in mind, "Players" are actually real person, real living human beings. Of course each player will be given a priority number. As for Timo FC, he is using integer as codes. For example, Player no.1, Player no.2 and so forth. Rating the players is done by no other than the owner of the club.

Ok enough about clubs, so now after reading through the second paragraph, I'm sure every guy out there will notice that with Timo's analogy, all of you has a club of your own! Let me continue with Timo FC. After chatting with me, he decided to hire me as his manager. His objective for hiring a manager? To keep tabs on his players and to pick the best candidate. Okay, maybe I left all of you hanging abit up to this point. The "football" club is abit different, you can have plenty of players, but at the end of the day, you can only prepare one contract which means only one player will stay permanently in that particular club. The contract must be sign by both parties, the player and the team owner and of course must be endorsed by some 3rd party associates. At the moment, Timo FC has no legal contract ready yet and that is why he hired a manager to observe the players. Of course the manager, being a rookie, has no prior experience managing a club and thus is doing a lousy job. This caused Timo FC to call upon his trusted friend, Danl, to be the advisor and CEO of his club.

Of course there was significant improvement from the club as the CEO is a Masters holder in PKTlogy ( message me if u want to know what it is! ). After much discussion, the CEO and manager send scouts out and found a potential player which the owner was abit reluctant to spend for. Of course the CEO and manager threatened to leave the club if the owner is still adament with his ways. After much pressure, Timo finally splash out some cash to lure the much hyped player and thus taking over as Player no.1 in the club. But that status wasn't to be held for long as a sudden change of heart from Timo saw player no.2 promoted back to the first spot. This time, he left the CEO and manager no choice but to agree and give their full support for his cause. Of course meetings were held to try and discuss about ways to keep Player no.1 permanent in his club but the final contract has not been prepared yet.

That's all for football clubs. I will try to update about the clubs later on, especially on Timo FC. As for now, maybe I'll continue abit from where I left off the previous post. Was talking about F1 and of course team Sauber Petronas. Was watching the race at Imola on Sunday and I've notice how much improvement they've made after a very dissapointing season opener. Of course after some information from an insider in Sauber, it was revealed they are now using 100% models for their wind tunnel testing as their engineers are still scratching their heads figuring out how to translate the 60% model into correct results. Anyway I do hope this team does well, because they carry the Petronas logo with them!

Would like to type more but I can't afford to lose study time as EXAMS ARE HERE!!!

Another Day(s)

Yeah, dubbed the "Most Beautiful Car On The Grid!", the Sauber C24. Too bad the performance isn't up to it's name. But anyway I do believe this team will improve much after they come to terms with their new windtunnel. I do like Formula One, no not because I'm a fan of the races or anything but just because I like to look at the technology involved. Aerodynamics, electronics, tires and so forth, really intrigues me.

Anyway enough about F1, just came back from a swim. Watched a little of the MU and Newcastle game, darn dissapointed! Newcastle was no where near the standard they use to be! Nevertheless, the match ended a dissapointing 1-4 to MU. Swimming was kinda fun, it's like a good therapy for my injured ankle. Yeah, suffered abit from the futsal game on Saturday. But of course I had plenty of fun, managing to be part of the UNBEATEN team consisting of Justus, Jesudas, Eman, Danl and me! Of course we aren't the best players but tactically, just sound and nice enough to keep the more coveted opponent at bay.

I really enjoyed badminton this week, managed to produce 2 eggs for my friend during a singles game in Sri Petaling school. Of course, thanks again to my racquet! I'm feeling very confident with my plays now compared to the dull period I had. But I do have to admit, that period thought me alot how to play with handicap and learn to incoorperate more subtle game plan compared to the usual speed and power which can be unreliable at times. Moreover, Danl and I are beginning to strike back a partnership maybe in preparation for future games or so forth, I wouldn't know.

Anyway, that's all for now, I've decided to be more diligent with my studies, exam coming! Maybe this time I'll do something different and get into group study with 2 of my college mates, Ijan and Indren. But of course, as I've done through out all my life, rely and depend on God for help hehe. So guys that's all for now, I do hope I'll get fresh ideas for future post.

NHT(New Hattrick Times)

Yes, my partner, Danl and I have decided to create a team blog based on Hattrick. It's call NHT and you will be able to find it here.

Abit about yesterday; There was a house on fire!!!! Yeah one of the terrace just opposite my condo cought fire and mind you, IT WAS HUGE!!!! Was witnessing how the firemen tried their very best to control the fire but to no avail. Wanted to grab my digicam to capture the moment, but my loving brothers decided to smuggle it to school!!!! No sweat, gave them a real lecture just now. What a coincidence! The burnt house actually belongs to one of my ex teacher! Good thing I was never in good terms with her but yet again, can't help but feel abit sorry. If it wasn't for the rain, I believe the fire might have just spread to the neighbours, call it timely intervention.

Was totally enjoying every moment with my new found vigour with my newly stringed racquet! For such a long time now I've been craving for that "feel" and yes I'VE FOUND IT!!! It makes the game much more interesting for me, and less so for my opponent ( just kidding ). Totally "SHIOK" when at last I get to hear my own booming smashes! Badminton is really a technical game. It's not like swimming or football where you usually can play and most of the time, it's more of you than your gears. In badminton, you have to feel your racquet, get used to the correct tension, spend some time analysing what racquet suites you most and so forth. That's why, Wilson HYPER carbon 1.0 is my choice!!!!!

I'll try to provide aftermath pictures of the burnt house later and maybe a proud picture of my racquet. But for now, digicam is still with my brothers, they need it for their school project.

Sunday, Joy and Laughter

Aha, it's a fun filled day today. Woke up really drowsy because. Was chatting and talking till about 3 a.m last night that's why. Anyway managed to get up early, brush my teeth, clean my bed, shower, eat and go to church. Thank God didn't fish in church today, the truth was indeed very edifying and interesting. Service ended about 4 p.m and we headed to Pizza Hut at Bangsar.

Dad decided to celebrate Ah Mah's birthday. Her birthday is actually on the 12th of April, but due to our busy schedule, have to bring it forward. Ah Mah was indeed very happy and she keeps claiming she's only 12! Well she does behave like a small kid at times. She's a really sporting grandma, can mix with anyone she meets. Ah A, Ah B, Malay, Chinese, Indian, you name it!!! Besides that, she can eat anything we serve her! Sushi(love it!!!), roti canai, PIZZA!!!, cakes, cheese, ANYTHING!!!

Here you go, the birthday cake for my dear granny. Looks simple?? Yes indeed she likes simplicity. She likes attention too, but not to the extend of craving it. But really, her character will attract alot to give her more attention! Ask anyone that knows her!! She's just, "charming".

Here you go, a picture of her. Really regret I didn't equip myself with the digicam, but dad's handy camera phone is always ready for some action! She's sweet isn't she? Anyway, wish her a very very happy birthday and yeah, will take her out more often. Just came back from mamak actually with small James and wife plus Wes. Most important thing is, thank God for bringing happiness to her life and drawing her to His house.

Growing Up

Here you go, a picture of cute baby Tina! She's just a year old and a very naughty girl indeed!!!! don't believe me?? Just look at the picture above.. That's her alrite!! Well that's baby, always playful and extreamly curious. That's why I'm so attracted to them. Well, have good experiences with babies..got twin terror to take care of last time!

Well I think the candid shot of Tina trying to steal my digicam just proves how adorable they can be. Can clearly remember when she was younger, she's the cry baby ace!! Nobody could go near her or she'll start yelling on top of her voice!! But now, after much sanctification (for the parents of course) she's much better and hei, looking for boys too!! She's just a cutie isn't she??

AHA!!! Here's another process of growing up, BIRTHDAY!!! Frankly I didn't know it was his birthday until his daddy bought him a mug of ice-cream and made the waiter sing him birthday song! My goodness, I just loooove watching kids grow up. Anyway his name is Joel and he's a real prospect for the future or Malaysian Football!

After all these years watching him grow up, I CAN'T BELIEVE HE'S AMSAP!!!!! Okay he isn't actually, just that he loves being called amsap. Let me introduce another fellah, at the PRIME of growing up. HE's AMSAP!!! Don't ask me, I DON'T KNOW!!! But according to studies, at his age, it is the correct time to grow up. Oh yeah..sorry I cannot provide the original picture but if you can just spend a minute or two at clicking here, you'll notice something horny and scary about this guy. Ok , I do advice you to head over to Wesley's blog to read more about AMSAP here. Credit to Lip Lip for producing such a good portrait of our dear Jesu. Okay that's all for now, see ya all next round!

Nice!!

Went for badminton yesterday, one of the most satisfying games i've played, not because I played well, but because at long last, my racquet is BACK IN ACTION!!! The feel of it was awesome! Even though I was left with quite a sore arm due to the adaptation period. Besides that, I played my first mix doubles game in about a year and thoroughly enjoyed it. Was laughing all the way when Karen keep mumbling the sentence,"VERY STRESS MAN!". Very very enjoyable indeed.

Woke up this morning with a very nice feeling. For the first time in 2 weeks, I felt no stress at all! YEAH!! The word STRESS!!! Goodness, its out of my system now, for the time being. Well, since I'm so free today, I've decided to post a picture, pretty good one too. Was browsing through the pictures taken during the Redang trip when this particular one strike me! Here you go guys...

Let me introduce our hero here, Michael Owen! We call him that because his real name is Joseph Owen. Opps I think I'm revealing too much here but it is okay. Anyway just have a good look at the picture, what can you see? Well I think I'll just leave you guys/girls hanging out here abit for a while. Go ahead, enlarge the picture, search for that particular clue that will tickle you abit. Notice the way he pose? Another thought for laughter if you manage to find out why. PSST..just a hint, don't be lazy to read.

FREE AT LAST!!!

This picture really describe how I feel right now; Peaceful and of course FREE!!! Anyway this picture belongs to my brother and I. Surely wish I could plunge into the sea and take a dip. Really really miss the beach. Can't describe my joy after finnishing the last assignment for this sem. Wasn't really happy as we were given so little time but felt worst when my friends start copying from seniors. Ended up having to write about 3000 words all by myself as others can just copy and paste!

Quite a hot and humid day today, don't really feel like going out but had to hand in the assignment. Met an old friend on the way there and he started sharing about his studies and so forth. Got a message from Wes bragging that someone was kind enough to offer him a free meal at Chilis. Well happy for you dude and enjoy your meal. Turn out it was his company's team lunch, GREAT HUH??

Met Deevan on the way back. Had tea with him and chat abit. He's my junior but we are taking a similar subject this semester, "Project Management". That's all for now. Will be sending my racquet for stringing later and maybe test it out tonight!!

BUSY!! BUSY!!

ARRGGHH!!! I feel like knocking my head on the wall!!! Assignments, test, dad ask to print stuff....all happen at the wrong time!!!! But what to do, that's life and I can't complain much. I've been so busy the pass few days I can hardly find time to blog. But here's one entry, taking time off to fill my blog.

Something funny happen during a badminton session on Monday. Was playing doubles and my partner is Uncle ..........(sorry can't reveal the name). I clearly remember doing a drop shot when the opponent returned a net. My partner bend down to retrieve the shot and suddenly! PIIAAAAAKKKK!!!! That was the sound I heard and after carefully analysing the situation, I found a BIG HOLE!....I mean his pants TORE!!!!!! HAHAHAHHAHA!!!! Pretty hilarious it wasn't a minor tear, it was a HUGE ONE!!! That's it for badminton, can't write much except that it was the most enjoyable session of my life and yes, I am sure you've guessed it right.

Was trying to rush my assignment to pass it up but was totally lost!! So I decided to hold it for another day. Last night was very very torturing. For the first time in my life, my head wasn't at ease. I couldn't sleep the whole night thinking about this thinking about that. Most of the time was about my assignment, then about what to do next, then about what about NEXT NEXT?? Whispered a short prayer to the Lord and at last I managed to get a short nap. Woke up really really tired this morning but had to go to college for class. My eyes were red and swollen. Thank God no lessons, just abit of discussion about assignment. After that played abit of table tennis with my friend Ijan and proceeded home to SLEEP!!!

Woke up at 4p.m to continue my work but daddy was there asking me to help him print out pictures of Cherating resort. So there goes my extra 2 hours allocated to do assignment. But then again, was happy doing it for him. While, manage to brows through a few of my friend's blog. I noticed a very interesting post by Sarah. Quite funny what others know about "Love". She makes is sound so complicating very distressful. Don't ask me! I've got no experience and that's why I've got NO COMMENT! But then, come on, life can't be so complicated can it? Gosh, maybe it's just her little mind going to work.

Dad just came back when I wanted to start this new paragraph. He ask me to change some details and print the document for him. After printing for him I actually did my assignment for about 5 minutes and remembered, I'm BLOGGING NOW!!! So here goes. I'm sort of lost now, can't remember exactly what I wanted to type, OH YEAH!! Sarah's Love post...sorry Sarah, but if you are reading this, no offense but, nevermind I've decided to hold my thought just incase she gets angry.

Quite funny how girls can misunderstand guys. Happened in sunday school today when one of my underlings ( AiLeen ) for the cleaning group was commenting on how lazy a leader I am. I just replied, "So you mean looking after you all, arranging the chairs, washing the mop isn't doing something?" and there goes some of them commenting that I felt it. Anyway the meaning of "felt it" means they think I am angry because of the statement they make. Well to be frank, I felt nothing and my answer was just to give them abit of attention. Maybe it is another "women" syndrom thinking man is like them, so sensitive and constantly "feeling" it.

Well, guess I better stop here or else I'll have another sleepless night thinking about this assignment. Besides that, another JAVA test coming up later!! AIKS!! NOT YET STUDY!!! Now that makes me wonder, why must we get our assignment and have test at the same time!!?? Worst of all, for this assignment, we are only given a week to finnish and yes we've only got the question last week when we had 3 other test to complete!

The Best/Worst Memory?? The Friendship Mark

Hrmmm......about this post, I'll have to introduce you to my friend Philip. Sorry I don't have a good picture of him. He is Danl's brother and yeah, they look alike even with a big age gap. I've known himi since our young days, so I'll just recap what happened, I mean the BEST or should I say THE WORST memory during my childhood days. Actually I would like to thank both Wes and Lip(Philip) for helping me to remember the incident.

I was about 4-5 years old that time. Lip is 1 year my junior. Can't really remember the location but we used to go to a church in NewTown PJ. The services were short and we usually play during and after service. All sorts of game we'll play, hide and seek, catching catching... and many more. I cannot really remember what game Lip and I were playing then but it involved alot of jumping. It is something like both of us jumping in a circle. After a while I got bored and turned away. Lip climb the chair and wanted to play "Superman!". Anyway "Superman" is not really a game, just a term we use when we want to have the feel of flight, jump from a higher ground to a lower ground. Anything from a cupboard to a stack of chair can be considered as a stepping stone for this cheap thrill, small kids game. Okay back to the "incident". So Lip climb up the chair and wanted to jump. Somehow or another he jumped at my direction. So that's the time he shouted my name, "JACOB!!!!!". I turned back and remembered a cute face with wide opened mouth and 2 front teeth, abit like rabbit's teeth, BANNNGGG!!!!! He landed on me.

His 2 little rabbit teeth sank into my forehead. He fell down and started crying. I can clearly remember going towards him asking him, "Lip! Are youi OKAY??". He pointed his fingers at me and cried and cried and cried. My first impression was that he is blamming me for this mishap. But later on, one uncle started pointing at my forehead. That's when I felt a thick liquid covering flowing down and covered my eyes. I tried to wipe it off thinking it was sweat but it kept flowing and flowing. My parents were alerted and they quickly lay me down on the floor hoping to stop the bleeding. Quickly they send me to a nearby clinic and I received a few stitches, can't really remember how many. Because of that I had the luxury of skipping school for a week until the stitches were removed.

Poor Lip, he lost his 2 front teeth due to that incident. And yes he remembers loosing his 2 front teeth for a very long time! Till today, the picture of that cute face with his rabbit teeth shouting my name mid air is embedded deeply into my memory bank. Besides that, the little scare I received is still there. I can feel it everytime i scratch my forehead or rub it. So once again THANKS LIP!! For the friendship mark you gave me!!

Anyway just a little about Lip. He's totally outgrown me (not physically though, I'm still taller). He is way more matured than me trying to woo girls at the tender age of 14, I think ( most probably much much ealier ). Anyway, thanks to the guidance of his older brother and mother, he decided not to take that plunge and so, I still feel comfortable being with him. REMEMBER DUDE!! Your teeth mark's on my forehead...shucks I can't remove it!! haha....I guess that makes me to be like your older brother.

Something To Fill My Tank

Here you go, the fishes that were given to us by a very dear friend. The aquarium is still very empty compared to last time but we are more than satisfied to try and keep the fishes alive after some very bad experiences last time.

For these few fishes, we are using a relatively small pump mainly because the fishes are small. But we sure hope they survive and grow! Anyway the task of keeping the fishes alive has been transfered to my Dad. So this time it will be my turn to laugh at him.

Back Track

Guess I'll have to back track abit this time. Haven't been updating my blogs due to the upcoming test and assignments. But nevertheless I'll make an effort to keep this blog as updated as possible. Lets start with Thursday. Received an sms quite early that day, I was actually sound asleep. It was from Sim Ying and she asked me if I could play badminton with her at night. Actually I was still abit tired from the Wednesday game so I didn't reply at all. So went to college for my "Project Management" test and thank God everything was smooth. Later on had a little discussion with Ijan and Indren on the upcoming test. They were pretty blur about the subject so they've ask a favour to explain certain things to them.

Went home about 3p.m. and took my lunch at home. After that, went online for a while to post my previous post and head on to bed immediately. Basically I slept from 4 till about 7. Woke up, took my dinner and then decided that I wanted to do something. Looked at my phone and remembered about badminton. So I called Sim Ying and told her I'll be going. They played at Sri Petaling School around PJ area. Was joined by Timo and Sim Ying with a few of her colleague. All together there were 9 of us. Played quite nice games especially the one where we had "Bukit Jalil" vs "ISYS" where Timo and I represented Bukit Jalil. Of course it was suppose to be an easy game. It was all one way traffic on the first set but they showed some great character by giving us a tough fight the second set. But despite thier bold attempt, we come out victorious at last! SIGH! We sigh in relief as it would be very humiliating loosing just like that. Can't really blame Timo and I though, we played on wednesday too and was feeling the effect.

Finnished the game about 9p.m and headed straight home. Was quite surprised to see new fishes in the aquarium as it was actually abandoned after my dad accidentally killed all our previous GFs (gold fish). Dad told me someone blessed us with these 8 fishes so I was pretty happy.

And now Friday. Once again had to wake up early for another test. Was getting pretty tired of all the sudden bulks of test but nevertheless I've enjoyed quite abit by grace due to the ability to answer most of the questions quite easily. This time, the subject is "Microprocessor based System", one of the many subjects my fellow classmates are ready to fail. But it turned out not so bad afterall even though I don't know what my other classmates will think but it was pretty easy and straightforward. That's really all that happen on Friday.

Saturday. The day isn't gone yet but I woke up this morning and found one of our black butterfly(GF) passed away. He wasn't looking good from the very first day it came so guess it is time for him. I tried isolating him to another tank but it seems he is too weak to survive.

That's all for now and hope I will get to post a another one tonight, maybe tomorrow. But once again I'm hit with another assignment and another test next week. Good day ya all!
