A Futsal Friendly

HUH! Back from a great game of futsal, and boy oh boy was it TOUGH!!!!...My goodness the young ones are improving so fast. There you go, the winning team. as you can perceive, we are all wearing BLUE, why blue? Don't ask me, it was decided by Danl (front row, middle). Alrite, lets introduce our team today, from the bottom left, Justus, Daniel, Timothy, and the top left, Philip and me. Positions? We are all utility players but defending is done mostly by Justus and I, whereas Timothy is more like an all out striker, even though he did much better in defense during the second half, Philip and Daniel? Run like crazy lor, up down left right!!!

Cannot really remember the exact score, but one thing for sure, all of us scored an average of 2-3 goals. Hrm....maybe Daniel and Timo scored more, cannot really remember.

Okay enough about our team, lets talk about our opposition team.

Light hearted as usual, here you go, the team that gave us such a tough fight! Lets start by introducing the fantastic 5, why fantastic?? Because the outran and outlasted us oldies. So, captain of the day, Mr. Mark Sebastion Veron, the one lying down on the floor holding the ball and resting it on another ball(s). I think he's just trying to protect that part, some unwanted things happened just now. Okay, members, from the left, Matthew, Philemon(with the FILA shirt), Daniel, and last but not least, the one standing, and yes he's shirt is inside out, no other than the gay of their team, Jesudas! Oh yeah, by the way, we just found out that Jesudas's butt is actually white in colour, that's his claim.

Okay lets talk about the game, the young guns started brightly, running with great pace and scoring the first 2 goals. But then again, the oldies prove that experience plays a vital role in futsal, pounced back with some tactical movement and quick strikes to equal the game. Not that the oldies were slow, we were just tired, lacking in stamina, having excess here and there, you should know lar. Anyway, by half time (which was called because most of the oldies were just too tired to run anymore) the oldies were leading by 9 goals to 6. After the break, the oldies slowed down the pace and once again was outrunned by the more vibrant young guns. So in the end, we lost count of the score but one thing is for sure, the oldies did it again! There wasn't much of a highlight this game, but after the game, Mark was telling us about his little incident that almost cost him his future. It seems he was hit by the ball at his private part and he was demonstrating how he could keep running and only felt the pain 5-10 seconds later! As usual, we being as naughty as ever tried to recollect what happen and thus this picture came to being;

Alright, this is not what happened, it's just to demonstrate the position of the ball. In actual fact, Mark just used his balls to block the ball flying from the foot of our dear friend Justus. Hrm, let your imagination fly abit, I really wonder how he had endure the pain...as it is a natural fact that a futsal ball is smaller but heavier thus producing much more force upon impact. And no, we did not check his.... you know but I do believe he should have it checked.................
