Ah Mah's special wine

Here's a picture, process of making rice wine. Of course my grandmother is an expert in it but there's a catch this time! One helpful family member of mine tried to help by changing the cover of the pot but it turned out all bad! Of course my grandmother is furious after spending so much time fermenting it for more than a month, now she notice that it will not turn out good. As you can see, the red spots are not meant to be there! It's a sign of intrusion, other unwanted element that somehow or another managed to creep into the pot while the cover was being changed. According to Ah Mah, we are not suppose to expose the lid and we are not even supppose to move the pot for it will disturb the enzyme that's fermenting the rice. In fact, exposing it to light will cause failure!
Here you can witness to what extend my grandmother wanted it to be a success! She ask me to print out a warning paper and place it near the pot.

Poor Ah Mah, she spend quite alot to buy the "fermentation bread" which looks like pieces of sylinder shaped dried bread. That's the fermentation agents and that's the bread that's suppose to house the enzyme. Anyway, I've just spoken to her and she's pretty optimistic that she can salvage some of the wine at the bottom, of course I'll think twice before consuming it after taking a closer look at the red stuff!! Oh yeah, by the way, this wine is not for getting drunk! It's usually used for cooking and Ah Mah is especially fond of using it to go with her famous "Mee Suah" which I believe one of my friend is having trouble cooking that dish hehe.
