August/ September/ October...
Three of the busiest months for me! I'll start with a recap
August - Visited Anne in Shenzhen (I know I know, again right?). In short, we didn't do much, besides food, food and more food.......

Told ya it was all food! Those stuff, sinful my friend, absolutely sinful!

Aite, next up,
September - Took my parents and 2 friends to HK/SZ/HK/MACAU/HK/SZ. Need to use some abbreviations man, else it would be something like hong kong -> shenzhen -> hong kong -> macau -> hong kong -> shenzhen.

This trip, slightly more eventful.
It all started with a trip to Shenzhen's very own 'Smart school', we were granted entry due to connections by daddy's friend, Mr Jimmy Khou, a scientist himself.

After that, makan again lor! Anne introduce us to a restaurant where, the food is 'So So' la, but the performance, that's the pulling factor. Sorry man, couldn't find pictures to match the description.

Next up, hong kong... one expensive, over-hyped, over-crowded place..... don't really like it, but there are some highlights.

The food ain't that fantastic, like I said, over-hyped, over-priced.....
Then there's Macau.........

And, back to hong kong..... this time, to ocean world! lol

Its Friday, darn, friday reminds me of Rebecca Black and how she murdered music! Lol kidding

Interesting day, Malaysia got kicked out of world cup qualifiers (SURPRISE!!!!!!!!), and the mother of all devils on the road is unleashed at full force! I'm talking about..... read the title.

Colleagues and I decided to take a trip down 'chili pan mee' lane, which of course requires us to drive....

BTW, we work in Jalan Ampang, a building next to CitiBank, nope no name, just a building :D

Kending, Taiwan

This is soooo belated.....

Anne and I, well we went for a lil holiday down south of Taiwan. Think it was 5 days 4 nights, consisting of Kending and Kaoshiung. I will only post about Kending now.

The atmosphere there reminds me a lot of Malaysia, hospitality, skin color, apek look...... being the only difference, they all speak mandarin.

We spend the first 3 days in kending;

A brief... Kending is the southern most part of Taiwan, famous for vast grassland, and beautiful sexy beaches.

Every night, a long stretch of road, Kending Street, will be lined up with food stalls, took us about 1 1/2 hours walking from end to end

Traveling around Kending can be arduous, mode of transportation? Scooter!

Could only go up to 60km per hour max on this beast

WARNING:! The authorities are pretty strict about having your driving licence, shops will ask you about it!

I actually don't have a motorbike licence hehe.

Interesting stops in Kending.

Gao Shan

Gao Shan is the highest peak in Kending, its about 45 minutes ride from Kending street, and please, don't attempt if you are not fit! Took us a staggering 15 minutes to reach the peak.

Gotto say though, the sunset is fabulous!

Its the highlight, food wise. Cheap food, delicious. A word of warning though, do plan your trip early, else you will end up riding alone in the dark, creepy, really creepy, bugs flying around, whacking your helmet... GROSS. We were satisfied having dinner there, I was filled on the way back.. go figure.

We, Asians, always leave some memories behind...

Final note on Kending, do plan ahead, hotels are usually fully booked. We did bunk in a very nice one, called LoveSea Inn.

Yeap, updating because me lazy juice is oozing out. Since I posted a few months back about Anne surprising me with a phone, well it is now upgraded! Thanks to a colleague who wanted the Desire S, so I traded it for a Sensation!

That's not all, Anne really really wanted a Galaxy S2... yeap.. its done! Tho i hope she would take better care of this.... hehe

Everything is good I suppose, week in week out, waiting for me to jet off or Anne to fly back, all in all, at least we have something to look forward to.

Oh yeah, so lazy, but my last trip to shenzhen brought us to Taiwan. Had a 4 days 3 nights (maybe 5 days 4 nights) to Kenting and Kaoshioung, gotto say, Taiwan reminds me very much of Malaysia, with everyone being chinese!

Arrgh, really thought of posting pictures of Kenting, BUT I'm illegally using Anne's phone right now...... and all the pictures are in the Sensation.

Do wish that time will zoom past, in a ..... sports car?

Since Anne's departure to China, its been pretty mundane. Sleep late, wake up early, go to work, breakfast, lunch, work, home, dinner, watch tv, chat with her, watch tv, sleep... weekdays. Weekends, wake up late, walk around aimlessly, probably go yum cha, watch tv.... .... (to be completed).

Its a good thing Mexcomm's pretty relax, so relaxed, I had to nose around looking for things to do! Its a good thing that there are pending projects in hand, else lagi cham.

That aside, our big boss, she's pretty cool....... that's all, more information shall be fed when the time is right.

Oh yeah, found a new group of 'Movie Kaki', people who will invite me for ... you know... movies.........

Excited now! Will be Anne's reunion with Malaysia since she took up a job in china. Can't wait to see her! WEEE!!!

Anyway, things have been great for my family and I. Doing quite well in the new company, so far everyone is fun and gila and we're getting things done.

At the same time, lost some passion for updating blogs, maybe its just the fact of getting old.

It is only been a week since coming back from China, and already I'm missing Anne. Well last time, I don't think hard what to do after work, cause the normal routine will be, picking her up from shell and do something together: now, well hehe thinking what to do after this! haha

Have been slacking around in Shenzhen for 2 whole weeks, YES 2 WHOLE WEEKS! Excuse was to help Anne settle down, but it was more like a reality check for both of us;

Spitting is a habit in China
People are generally rude (well they are survivors and basically don't really trust strangers)
Watch your purse!

Anyway, the spitting really gross me out! HAHA Imagine a store manager spitting inside the stall while talking to his staff!

That aside, that place is realistic, people work hard and slog to survive (not all of them). Guess they are on a brink of change, maybe, that is why they are starting to hire a lot of foreigners? haha

That aside, we enjoyed the country side, mainly, Yangshuo! WEEEEE!!! what a great place, met Anne's ex colleague, Mila who layan us very well. At the same time, met a few chinese locals who really help us change the outlook of China.

Alright, ought to work now, that's all CIAO!

I'm kinda like a mini supporter for Lotus Racing, headed by Tony (ya air-asia). Recently, they announced that the name "Team Lotus" will be used next season instead of "Lotus Racing"... YAY!!! Though I don't really understand the difference! haha.

Anyway, since that announcement, there have been a HUGE war between Tony's team and Lotus Group + Proton. Apparently, they are not allowed to use the name "TEAM LOTUS"; claims Lotus Group.

Ding.. dong.. ding.. dong.. (typical Malaysians + English)...........

Alright, thanks to timely EL (someone stole tow guard), me find time to bloggie!
Its about the redang trip I've been mentioning, well here are some pics + comments.
1st up, we drove there, 3 cars in total! Beth beth followed us, and after 3 hours of non stop mouth action!

Hehehehehe she gave up!

Took us about 6 1/2 hours to reach Merang, we bumped into a lodge called 'Kembara Inn', pretty cheap. RM60 per air-conditioned room. Since it is a beach resort, we took the girls out for a taste of what's to come.

Tell you, it was hard getting them INTO the water... it is harder getting them OUT of it

So next day, we made our way early to Merang Jetty......

Waiting..... waiting..... waiting....... and when we got on the boat.

Beth seems to enjoy it A LOT! where as....

Rachael found it BORING... The ride is about 45 minutes.

We stayed at Redang Bay resort, a resort we visited many years ago. Things still look the same, and my brothers....... well.....

The food served is actually pretty GOOD! haha bet daddy is one happy person! Besides that, we met a very happening family...

Alright, have decided, will throw in resignation letter coming Monday (11th October 2010). Reason, well, lack of inspirasi here. One of my colleague commented that this place is like a library... hehe

Anyway, I do have a good offer in hand. Anyways, I really wanted to at least complete a project before leaving, but it really seems impossible at times, projects not coming in at ALL! Maybe that's why it is not motivating. Spend the first few months working on a project that we thought was a GO, but end up NO GO, same to as other projects.

Worst, each NO GO does not contribute to our KPI.

I hate to rant about work, but here's the deal killer, feel like some of them here are not open, example, IT team, we don't even talk about technical stuff even though I have tonnes of ideas. Just say I am under utilized here hehehe.

Anyway, a new chapter will unfold soon, sure hope the future company has better environment and more projects that will tickle my aging mind hehe.

Went for an Island trip with family and friends last week (16th September 2010), was absolute fun and funney! haha. Its great to be with a bunch where everyone is open and free; which well its like a very first company trip for KNN.

There's only 1 drawback, suffered a dislocated finger while playing beach soccer.

Still manage to enjoy though! Will post up more once I find the will to haha

Sorry, too tired to elaborate! Anyway, went for 2d 1n camping trip to Berkelah Waterfalls.
Berkelah sounds really timid, relaxing, cooling place, right?
...
WRONG!
Gosh this is one of the hardest trip, hardest because:

There's literally a standstill inside the valley, NO WIND AT ALL!
3/4 of the time spend jumping on slippery rocks, sun blasting full force at you.
Carrying a 10+ kg load, OUCH!

All that aside, the destination is rewarding, again! I WILL NEVER CAMP THERE ANYMORE! haha.

Enjoyed a movie with my bras yesterday (Ah Jun/ Ho) the terrible TWINS! haha.

Many gave bad reviews, but I for one will commend it. Well, have not watch the cartoon so no IDEA how the story contradicts! Goes to show, better to watch a movie without expectation!

The cast were cute, especially Aang, damn cute man his look. Too bad no leng luis, else maybe people will enjoy it more.

On another note, bender for English (British) means 'homosexual'! NO WONDER THEY WERE LAUGHING!

It has been quite sometime, getting me lazy body to workout! Thanks to Andy for badminton session and Mummy for futsal.

Saturday 14th August.
Badminton was OK la, have been dormant so long, its good to finally change the racket grip! Highlight of the day, smashed Stacy on 'HIS' back. Yeap its a 'HE' not 'SHE', don't ask me why ya.

Had dinner at Asia Cafe after that, food was so so la, just for the fellowship, nice meeting new people, Alvin, Stacy, Ray.

Alvin had the urge for karaoke, we promptly decide to go, only Stacy was reluctant. Anyway, all of us ended up there, and we had a blastin time! Lost me voice, Stacy got interrogated like crazy, and I think Andy was drunk? haha

Reach home about 3+ am? hehe

Sunday 15th August
Went to church in the morning, the preacher is Pastor Phua Seng Tiong (think so), Anne's ex headmaster, a very very respectable person. Message? About life changing experience with Jesus, AMEN!

After that Anne and I proceeded to have lunch with Mei Chien and Jackson. Mei Chien is Anne's colleague, Jackson, well he owns the distribution company for Midea (water filter). We had a great time, even through the communication barrier.

Rush home for a short nap, woke up and rush to futsal. Only 10 turn up, so we played 5v5 all the way, wahhhh damn tired man!

All in all, thank God for a great weekend, can't wait for the next one! hehe

New life at DUMC

Have been faithfully attending church at DUMC lately. Things are great! Music is way better, sermons are geared towards a better Christian life. How fast time pass, just last year we left DA (I term it a cult church) and I'm now learning the twist and turns, living a real life.

Sad that Anne's mother is still trapped in there. She's coming out with all sorts of excuses to convince her daughter to leave me, right up to blaming my bicycle for the harassment they've been receiving from an unknown party. You see, DA is a very VERY spiritual place, anything that goes wrong in your life MUST be connected spiritually; somehow, they have found a way to connect my bicycle to some unwanted events. Better quickly remove my bike then! HAHA that way I can start cycling again.

Years in DA left us in ruins, physically, spiritually even financially drained, pray that God will help replenish us, and pray that God will use us to draw more people to his kingdom!

Fun is up, yeap got shifted back from KLCC. It was such a sad sad moment we actually had farewell lunch hehe.

Now back to Megan and to be frank, the chairs here are pretty sucky, suffering from backache after 1/2 hour sitting, remedy? Walk around more often and don't be a computer freak!

Oh yeah, finally Anne is back, after enjoying herself for 3 weeks and leaving me behind (sob sob). Good thing she bought some stuff for me haha...

Failed Kinabalu climb

Gosh, must be so embarrassing, but terrible headache, stomach upset (vomited 2 times at laban rata) , altitude sickness took a toll on my body, so? Missed the deadline to check in Sayat point by 5 mins, plus we woke up late! for the climb to the peak.

Anyway, it was a fun experience, shouldn't followed chun eng and pop 2 panadol before ascending, worked for him!

To recollect..

First day of climb was OK! Easier than I initially anticipated, problem started when my back ached like crazy, thus taking more rest to ease it! Salute Andy and Chun Eng, both carrying about 10kg load (that's my weight too) yet no complain, must be my super heavy body (96kg hehe) ! Anyway no complaints, as Anne and I slowly threaded the trail, Mesilau is an absolute beauty, seriously going to try again! This time, with less weight and more panadol!

It took Anne and I about 10 hours? to reach Laban Rata, like I said, we took our time, snapped some pics here and there, most importantly, had to nurse my aching back.

Upon reaching Laban Rata, took a bite of dinner and immediately threw out! OMG! Was extremely worried then, felt fine one moment and threw up the next UNBELIEVABLE!! Nvm, its fated that I have to go there again! So took an early rest and woke up shivering, that moment, fever.. yup... fever.... SHIT!!!!

Still geared up, but our group, as usual late la hehe. Suppose to start journey at 0200hrs ended up 0240? Because of that, we kinda rushed. Bad move, that rushing without warm up? Hahaha my body literally collapsed on the 1/2 mile point. Was cold sweating like crazy and gasping for air. Stopped and told Anne to move on, had to sit for 10 minutes, remove the heavy jacket, when suddenly a gush of energy! Threw up another time and continued the journey. It felt good this time, could have gone much faster, but choose to pace myself. Uncle Vincent and Lee Lian, they were with me so we took our time, step by step.

About 1km from Sayat check point, felt a terrible headache, is that the dreaded altitude sickness? I think so! reach for my pocket and "SHIT! Left the pills with MUMMY!!!!". Continued the journey with a stinging heavy head, reached sayat feeling much better, but about 5-10 mins late, so we weren't allowed to continue anymore... :(.

Anyway that's the climb, descending was a breeze.

Fell sick up there

Was having bouts of headaches
Couldn't eat dinner the day before (go back to point 2)
Woke up late for the climb

Well congrats to those who made it, hehe especially Anne! so sad couldn't join her, was late at sayat checkpoint by 10 mins :(

Its okay, Andy and I are planning our next move, this time we'll get some veterans along!

Thank God! Past few days has been absolutely fantastic! Things have gone better than expected, and I am much more at peace! hehe

Anyway, went out for chow toufu yesterday, hehe, Andy is complaining that it is not "smelly" enough! Well its ok for me hehe.

Alritey! I've chosen to totally let go of the past. You know things about the church and all, well time to let go. Sorry Lord for being so bitter, no more excuses, it is time to move on!

Reunion?

Had a nice nice nice day, Sunday!

Completed our daily routine; Breakfast, lunch, dinner and of course SUPPER! Took dinner at Uncle James' place (small james). Before that, we got a surprise call by Aunty Alice, you know the so called "rebel" that left church 4 years back!

Apparently, they found out we are out of the church, and took the liberty to include us in their "Reunion" dinner!

It was fun! Its been 4 years, regardless of what some dumbo people has been saying, yeap we haven't been in contact for 4 FREAKIN YEARS!!!

Thank God they are all healthy and doing well, so long for the "imaging" that has been preached in that particular church.

Anyway, its good to be in contact, because since they accused my father of killing a pastor (that's how crazy people can be), we have lost many many many, friends, thus is good to make more nowadays.

We chat for about an hour, and then Uncle Seong, Dad, Uncle Kumar and mom went to a mamak and we continue to catchup.

We have learned, of lies we have been fed for so long, nothing better than to query for the truth yourself!

So friends out there, if you hear bad things being preached, you have a choice to;

Find the truth

Sad to say, people in dove assembly decided to do the one thing that defiles morality and teachings of the bible, they have chose to judge their own brethren.

Thus said, I don't consider any of them brethren anymore, I'm still praying for them though, hoping that one day, God will remove the scale that has bound them in religion (cult) and cut them off our one true and Living God!

By grace, found a new job, but wont be starting soon as got a message

Which means I'll be a free agent till then! haha. Anyway, got a soft confirmation and already started a project to build a point system for a salon. Since we are still negotiating the price, it wont be near we can launch the custom system.

Building it anyhow, got my partner, Chun Eng, to teach me a lil here and there about ASP.NET. Too bad he is a bz bz bz man, else a few modules could have been done easily hehe. Don't worry mate, not blaming you! haha

Alright, that's all for now, so far got no solid plans for CNY.

And yeah, on a last note, a friend whom I treated as enemy for the past 3 years, well we are finally in contact again! Thank you God for bringing me out of a cult practice!

New Year's climb!

Ah, finally! A constructive post. Well actually missed out writing about "Mount Granpa" because well, life has been hectic, Granny went hospital, resigned, looking for job.... lazy.

Anyway, here comes Angsi! A little info on Gunung Angsi.

Gunung Angsi, Angsi mountain 825 meter 2702 feet height. Located at Hutan Lipur Ulu Bendul,Ulu Bendul Recreational Forest , Kuala Pilah District, Negeri Sembilan State.

Good enough? Well here's a little description;

The plan was to wake up at 6.30am, 1st January 2010, eat breakfast, fetch Anne, and meet up with uncle Vincent, head to MacDs at SG Besi highway just before the toll.

So, woke up at 7.15, after accidentally switch my phone to silent and missed 2 calls from Uncle Vincent, alarm didn't ring because accidentally set it to ring on Saturday, silly me hehe.

Well that didn't deter us, so we met, drove and half way, my gearbox gave way! OH SHIT! So drove all the way to Kuala Pilah on 3rd gear at 80km/h. Shitty? Yeah!

After we stop by a mamak to check on the car, hrmm reverse gear not working pulak... grrrrr.

I hopped on to Andy's car while Anne, mom and uncle Vincent join Gan and Jimmy.

Seriously, we got lost, the entrance is like.... non existent? no worries...... Here are some of the pictures.

Missed the trail to the peak
Reached a camp site that we thought was the peak, wondering how come the climb is so freakishly easy.
Noticed we didn't reach the peak after descending down.
Got laughed at by a group of uncles.
Got an empty challenge from Gan to re-climb.

As stated in point 5, empty challenge........ so obviously we went down, drove off to the mamak where Anne's car is parked, ate lunch, and drove home......

Good news, AMA has been discharge from the hospital. Daddy, aunty Kathryne, Edvin, Uncle small James and family, we were there to greet her out of the hospital.

She's fine now, just a little weak, but we can't expect too much, she's been on the bed for 20+ days now.

Thank God for His keeping grace, and for those who wishes her dead, sorry, for those who wish her good, I thank you all for the good wishes!

Since the whole ruckus in church, well 'Dove Assembly' which I stop going for some time now, my grandmother has not been in good shape. Reason?

Her youngest daughter, AKA my aunty (whose name I have chosen to forget), she followed the church and disown her own mother. My granny was in such a grief that she wept and cried for many days. Even though she hid it from us, we know, we all know, else we wouldn't be called FAMILY!

Tell me my friends, what kind of church accuses people of stealing money, killing a pastor, where there is no proof whatsoever? Well for everyone's information, our family has no intention of killing anyone, nor we have the ability to kill!

Well the church seems to think otherwise, they think that we are so powerful that a pastor can be killed by us merely doing "nothing".

Amazing isn't it? WOW!!!! AMAZING!!!!

So fellow ex friends who see me or any of our family members outside, I suggest you RUN! Because if you don't who knows what our "POWERFUL" weapons can do to you? RUN! HAHAHA

Idiots.

Sorry I digress, back to my Ama story.

Due to all her grief, she started having fainting spells, thus we rushed her to the hospital. She had to undergo emergency NGO (go google it) and was placed in the CCU (cardialogy critical unit) for about a week. Things went fine but soon after that, she contracted lung infection. She was under powerful antibiotics for a few days.

I've just visited her last night, she was snoring (sleeping la). She looks very good now and she's feeding well again.

Just finish a video call with her, well she was eating so she said, "maya kacau la you!" haha.

Oh yeah, by the way, someone called us, it seems people in the church says my grandmother has died!

Well, I'm not interested in what you think, but I'm going to paint a picture to you.

That 'aunty' that disowned her? She never visited my grandmother. I'm not a sadist, nor some philosopher , but there's one saying, and it is very true.

What you sow, is what you shall reap.

So brothers and sisters (with no regards to those church members), give good and you shall receive good. That reminds me, the bible thought us to pray a prayer, a prayer that Jesus said.

A lot of things has happened since the last 3 years, things that are not especially pleasant, people are looking at one another, pointing fingers, blaming, judging, bearing false witness, the list goes on and on and on.

Its sad sometimes, but I've learned one thing, and only one;

In this world, you can ultimately only trust 1 person, that person, is the Almighty God. He knows all truth, and in the end He will be our judge.

My family and I have gone through tonnes of such things, yet we have always knew the truth, and stuck to it, why? Because if we haven't, all those years learning about 'The Truth' will be wasted, all those years of sanctification and learning process will be utterly USELESS! It is sad I tell you, I might not be the president, nor some menteri, I'm just a 24 year old boy who has gone through life the very very hard way, not hard financially, not hard physically, but hard spiritually and mentally.

Well some might beg to differ, but try being called a hypocrite, betrayer, and everything bad, yet, you have done absolutely nothing, nothing at all to deserve such treatment. Well, the harsh reality of life, maybe it is God's way of testing us, testing our resolve, our steel in faith. It hurts even more when people who you have nothing to do with starts spilling out lies, judgment, false witness just to irk you, life is just harsh. And it hurts even the more, when friends around you falls for such lies, such judgment, such things without even giving truth a chance.

What can I say, humans are vile, ugly beings, they like juicy stuff and more often than none, they fail to see the hurt it causes others, but let me tell you one thing! By grace, I've grown too strong to be hurt, because a friend who turns against you for no reason? They have never been a friend, like I said earlier, only GOD can be your true friend, your judge, and a family who sticks together through thick and thin will be your true family, a blessing from God.

We've lost someone I keep dearly in my heart, someone who have help me through life, financially, spiritually even physically. Trust me, I will surely miss him, just sad truth was not given a chance to be spoken, then again, time will always be God's best way of revealing truth.

Anyway, Anne and I collected our APK-THA yesterday! WEEE!!!! Might be asking, WHAT IS THAT? Well it is the water proof sports pack for Sony T77 (Pinky).

I tested it by submerging it in our Coleman Drink Box for about 15 minutes, Anne placed a piece of paper inside the APK-THA, and WHOALA! It didn't get wet! MAGIC! kekekeke

Anyway, brain's pretty fried now, have to work so early because IJN wouldn't allow me to touch their server during working hours.

Had a wonderful day yesterday (Tuesday, 22/09/2009), a group of 12 made our way for a challenging skytrex adventure!

The group consisted of, Cheryl, Jimmy, Sony, Lilian, Andy, Phang, Gan Teck Meng, Pailin, Lillian (another one), Benjamin, Anne and me!

Benjamin is a last minute entry, thanks to cheryl who introduce a friend who couldn't make it and informed us last minute causing me to panic because there is no refund and finally we were late because we had to fetch Ben..... lalala.... in short, all cheryl's fault.

Of course we bragged about going for the eXtream Challenge, but ended up doing Big Thrill.

First thing you'll have to do after registration is, wear your harness, make sure you do it correctly, else your balls might hurt. Cheryl was kind enough to pose for our 'Dummies Guide To Wearing Your Harness'.

Next question, how to know if you have worn your harness right?

Easy, if you're a guy, your manhood will be pronounce...

And if you're a girl? Well there are no obvious signs, but these 3 ladies did it right...
One good thing about Skytrex, they hire part-timers for your basic training, below is Alfred, the part- timer. I felt very safe and confident after his lecture..............

Just a start, Mulu National park is a 'World Heritage Site', see the picture below? well it is taken from Mulu Park official website.
A group of us will be venturing there next month, 8 of us in total, that includes Anne, Michelle Loh, GTM + 3 +++++ .

We are definately looking forward to it, you know, BATS! GUANO! wild animals, hiking, boating, eating... makaning, and a lot more eating.

Lodging at Benarat Inn, and we've managed to haggle a deal for 2 breakfast, 2 buffet lunch and 2 buffet dinner! WEEE!!! We'll be given an extra free hiking trip up a scary hill!

Soooooo..... that's about it now, pray things work out well and we can catch some wild boar for dinner...

Yeap, that's how i feel now, LALALALLlalalLALALAlalalalal. Have really lost the mood to work. Woke up late on Monday, and decided to take a day off (since working so hard on the futsal court, scoring about 5 goals WWEEEEEE!!!).

Things were panning out pretty well, you know, relaxing, watching tv, potato couching, looking for food (oh the good ol days), suddenly a phone call came, no wait, 3 PHONE CALLS!! Phone calls from office, from HR department, or is it HR aka ACCOUNTING aka BLUR PEOPLE department.

Got queried over my claims.

You see, I've been doing a lot of travelling for our company, flying to IJN almost daily to finish up some stuff, coasting to Cyber or Putra when another colleague shouts SOS, running to UMMC ( which is University Hospital), going to Shah Alam a few times to settle some SMS problem... yada yada... bling blang..

All this travelling cost money and time, moreover I forfeited about RM20 worth of claims due to using my very smart "Touch N Go" card, and with a new mandate,

"NO CLAIMS WITHOUT RECEIPT"

I duly obliged. Oh wait, digressing too much liao, did I mention the reasons for the 3 office calls? Well they did an FBI investigation because of a RM1 toll claim........

Alright, my last post, "flu flu", it was somewhat a half joke. Was down with sinus and even till today, my cheeks are slightly puffy. Nevertheless, took MC on friday (FREE MAR) and then rested rested rested, and played football on sunday.

The last time, we got crushed 4-1, munehneh posted some pictures as there were rows of enthusiastic supporters. This time, the supporters dwindled, and we were left to play for our pride......

Well since the swine flu has become a pandemic, better safe than sorry! Here are a few steps to protect yourself.

Don't eat swine (tho it has nothing to do with that flu).

I've been browsing through blogs, facebook, this and that... it seems that one particular word stands out,

So vivid was this particular word, searched it up in "Dictionary" and got this;

Alright....... I have chosen not to use the word "Random" for today, why? because this word is somehow, so "random"?

Well at the same time, people who randomly says random things are pretty, random...

And, yeah I'm not supposed to use random, sorry for that.

So, because of all the "R&*#$&ess", I've come up with a few backup plans....

Anyway, want to talk about responsibility, things you should, should not do.

You should do things that helps your family, religion, bring good testimony for your family.. like... be a family oriented person, always lookout for your siblings and parents, don't shout at them and call them stupid just because they are OTABC (gotto admit, I like to 'kacau' my bras (brothers) too).

Anyway... what about things you shouldn't do?

Yeap no smoking is one of them... but, the most important thing is, don't do things that your religion says you shouldn't. If you can't listen, why worship your God? Bible says don't smoke, DON'T SMOKE LA!.. says don't whack people, DON'T WHACK LA! Says to love one another... LOVE LA!!! and if your religion says, don't listen to worldly music or partake of any, even opening your ears in shopping complex..... DON'T DO IT LA!

Simple right? well sounds simple, but I believe many will find it hard, close to impossible................... so when people choose to do something they are not suppose to do, how to respond? ... simple... i'll go...

Went for a better workout yesterday, SWIMMING!! Yeap, I actually kept to the promise and pulled myself out of the potato couch for a swim.

This time, was joined by my bra(s) and sister + girlfriend,

Yeap, we were all ready for a great workout.

We started fairly slowly, did about 20 laps worth of freestyle, moderate speed. This time, my strokes are stronger, kicks were harder, my bra(s) found it hard to keep up, my sis? Hrm... where is she? Tengah shi shi gua! Kekekeke... Don't despair ya!

Highlight of the day is of course the 50m butterfly event, instigated by one of my bra, Samuel Tan Kah Ho, he managed roughly 30-40m, so did Daniel. They challenged me later on.....

Yawn, easy job larrrrr.............

Hehe, stuck in celcom's server room now, what to do, their server KONG KA KIAO, so we have to use KNOPPIX to backup the data, and its COLD in here! hehe

I've been doing slightly more workout nowadays. Instead of the weekly futsal, Anne and I are doing some brisk walking every monday, up Beth Beth's hill, previously known as "Anne's hill". The first time we just did a loop around that housing area, the second time was slighly more adventurous, we took a long walk to the new housing area, reach the futsal court.. blah blah, overall about 45 minutes worth of walk.

Next I'm planning to swim every wednesday or thursday, I've done it last week, will do it again today! hehe.

Oh yeah, was "jalaning" with my family at 1U last saturday trying to escape the Wesak Day, found an Adidas Predator XXXXXXX (blue color) for RM99.90, buy lor! hehe and plan to use it this sunday to play football!

Wish me all da best ya? coz it is my first time kicking a football in ...5 years? Moreover we'll be playing full field, will bring anne along to snap pictures....

On another note, never noticed how playful I am, not till I browse through my brother's blog, click on the link.... geeesh.. hope being childish is good.

Sweet Memories

It has been almost 3 years since coming back from Australia, yeap it was just a short 2 weeks trip to finish the practicals and get my degree, yet memories can never fade. It is a pity I couldn't get my pictures, it is with Lee, and it seems I've failed to contact him.

Well there are tonnes of pictures, but just to cap a few things, we stayed in Brisbane for a day, towoomba for a week and gold coast for another week!

It was fun....... promised Anne I'll bring her there one day, and I definately WILL!

Grand Canyon

Yeap it has been ages! AGES since coming back from the US. What to do, gotto tune back to the super hectic, cannot rest, must work till death lifestyle.

Seriously, we need a cultural change!

Anyway, back to serious business, PICTURE OVERLOAD! YAY!!! I'll try to provide picture comments ok?

The bright and sunny day, snap a few shots of De Beau hostel.
Won't tell you where is my room, we booked a 2 bed dorm.

Mount Humphrey, dupped the tallest mountain in America.

We left Flagstaff about 9 in the morning, travelled with 4 others, 5 including our tour guide.

On the way to GC, there were still ice patches all around.

The journey took 1 1/2 hours! Yeap that's a long distance, but in the US, its OK.

We made our first stop, was told to buy lunch and supply for a long long day.
It has been 1/2 hour since we enter the Grand Canyon reserves, yet we were made to wait for the view of our life.

Michael made us walk blindfolded (ya kena tease and all) but he say it is worth it. So we walk behind each other, waited for Michael to place us in the right spot, and in unison, opened our eyes for.....

Its amazing, as you can see, there are the vertical cliffs and the slopes with gradient, there are both different rock types. The vertical ones are limestone, where as those slopes are soft red rocks.
I took a 15 minute hike, the trail was filled with mule's poop and urine, frozen urine, making it dangerous.

After that, we were gathered and promptly boarded the van for our next destination, lets call it, 'LUNCH SPOT'.

Its great, Michael persuaded me to join him at the edge, it took some getting used to (cold and wind blah blah) but it felt great after awhile. Seriously, if you are going to the Grand Canyon, don't go if you are scared of heights.

After lunch, we were taken to another spot, this is where we will start our journey, a long 6.5km hike down the Grand Canyon!

Stoped at a ridge to snap some pic, this man was so nice to have his picture with a completely unknown chinese stranger, well the folks down there are really friendly, seriously!

A glimpse of the 'safer' parts of the trail we embarked on.
Somehow you just have to make a few stops, because the view is just Speeectakular!
Will never forget this place, it is called 'Oo Ahh Ridge'. The name is so freaking unique, visitors steal the signs every time a new one gets erected. A small slip anywhere will cause you your life!
Thread carefully! these are the soft red sand, no wonder areas around it gets the name 'Red Rock'.
Finally! CEDAR RIDGE! After hiking for 6.5++++km and descending for about 1000ft!

Not forgetting to snap pictures of myself, Anne reminded me hehe.
Well after a long hike to Cedar Ridge, can't help but sit near the cliff to enjoy the spectacle

Believe it or not, that is the trail to hike up! And that peak? that is not the destination, the destination is somewhere to the right ---> nope you can't see it.

It took us roughly 1 1/2 hour to hike up from Cedar Ridge, serious shit! Well it wasn't easy, got terrible frost bite on my hand from the ever changing temperature and wind. I think we took about 5 stops. The climb took a toll on Mun Yau, we froze waiting 40 minutes for him. Anyway, he should be proud of himself, a guy with no extra curricular activies for the past who knows how many years! He made it....
The last place Michael (our tour guide) took us, it is called the 'Watch Tower'. Self explained.

Observe closely, and you will see the Calorado river. This particular river is 100m in width.

A moment to snap my last shot before sleeping all the way back to Flagstaff, we passed through the Navajo reserves, that is where all the red indians live.

Just a short note, if you read through the comments, you might notice, there are 2 Michaels? Yeap there are 2, one is our tour guide, and another Polish native, residing in US. There were many things I went through that trip, but it is not easy to pen it down, ask me if you have questions hehe.

Woke up really early this morning, ate breakfast at the hilton embassy suites, checked out, send the car back, and then waited for the shuttle service.

We were greeted by 'Jeremy' friendly driver I would say; The journey was boring, talking once in a while with the folks there..
Spotted a roller coaster ride.
Did I mention the speedlimit is 75miles per hour? That's like.... 120kmh, oh wait? The driver was going at 80mph. But he says it is perfectly legal, they have this, obstruction rule? Well you are suppose to speed up when there are tonnes of cars behind

Hehe, when we arrive at flagstaf, they somehow knew we were coming and send SNOW!?!?! YEAH SNOW!!!

Limited internet access at the hotel i'm staying at, so i'll just post pictures in sequence what we have done so far
